We are a 3 star sea front hotel of 56 rooms, 27 with direct sea views, offering stunning sea views and a direct access to the beach. The hotel enjoys an ideal location. It’s within pleasant walking distance of the famous 'Thermes Marins', of Saint Malo’s old town and within easy reach of the railway station. There’s a good choice of fine restaurants nearby. Free and unlimited parking just outside the hotel (subject to availability). Paying and secure garage (2 places only) available on request.

Dear Eddie, Thank you very much for this very nice feedback after your stay in a superior sea view room. You liked the location, both facing the Sillon beach, close to Intra Muros, and with a good choice of restaurants just in our street, and we are very happy about it. We are delighted that you also appreciated your room and the availability of the team. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again. Patricia B / Manager

The location of the Kyriad is excellent. Book a "superior room" which has sea-view.
The hotel has strict covid measures and implements them rigorously.
Breakfast can be individually ordered on a "buffet-style" list and is served in the room.
We did enjoy the high level of flexibility of the hotel staff and the excellent service.
The hotel was willing and able to serve us breakfast in the room at 5 a.m. for a 6 a.m. departure.
We can highly recommend this hotel.

Visit started great. Hotel directly beach side and short walk to old town. Magnificent views of the beach. Room was a bit small but adequate. We ordered breakfast the night before for 9.00 am the following morning. We were ready at 8.50 am so asked if we could have breakfast early as we had a long 800 kms drive ahead of us. We were rudely told "No, it is ordered for 9.00 am so that's when you will get it".
By 9.20 am there was still no breakfast so we gave up! We were told "She had two bookings for 9.00 am and yours was the second". Dreadful service and a sad end to an otherwise nice visit.

Dear Crapaud62 Thank you for your feedback. We really appreciate your positive comments about the magnificient views from the room and our location directly on sea front. It's such a shame as what you experienced that day was just down to a BIG misunderstanding. All this would have been fixed with a reminder phone call. The receptionist didn't mean to be rude to you, she was just repeating the breafast time to be sure she had the right one. With perspex screens and masks, we are having a very hard time understanding each other in French, in English i'ts almost mission impossible especially if you are talking to us from the lift area and not directly opposite us. We are again very sorry about all this. Kind regards Francine

Location! A small hotel with a friendly atmosphere on the beach promenade. There is also beach in both direction for walks and lots of water sports to view. Saint Malo Walled Town, many diverse eateries and embarkation points for boat excursions are all within walking distance. The hotel has a bar / coffee area overlooking the beach and the breakfast room also has sea views.
All staff are welcoming and helpful and there is storage space for luggage for early arrivals. The facilities, bedroom and bathroom were all very clean, although the shower was slightly small. Wonderful stay.

A 10-15 minute walk to walled city. In a good location. We had a sea view which was fab and took our dog. Thebes and pillows were very firm! A number of local bars and restaurants if you did not want to walk into town

Hotel was on a great location and the breakfast was nice. Staff were lovely and helpful.
The room was clean but not worth over £200 per night for what was really quite a small basic double. I paid less at the Hilton.

Dear Guest, Thank you for this feedback. You liked the situation of our establishment, as well as the sympathy of the team and you see us very happy about it. We are sorry if you found the value for money disappointing. In the middle of August, prices in St Malo are very high. Ours are in our market, and quite often even below. Patricia B / Manager

Comfortable always helpful and friendly. Near to old city and you do not need a car as everything is within easy walking distance. Wonderful views from the hotel and beautiful long beach to exercise. Plenty of local restaurants with good food and friendly service nearby on the hotel doorstep. In the old city history art and culture await you.

Hotel Kyriad St. Malo Plage was absolutely fantastic. I stayed on the 2nd floor. When I entered the room I was completely overwhelmed by the location and views from the windows. The windows look out over the beach, Atlantic ocean, Intra-Muros and Cathedral of St. Malo, as well as views of the sunset. The rooms are small, very clean, with coffee makers complete with instant espesso and cookies. A very nice touch. The price for this time of year I found to be very reasonable at 74 euro per night. Next door to the hotel is a very lovely Restaurant specializing in regional Brittany cuisine and a lovely Patisserie. The next time I am in St. Malo I will stay at this hotel again happily.

If you stay here you MUST book a sea view room. We had room 203, which has just been renovated on the style of a ship's cabin, with porthole in the door to the ensuite beautifully tiled showerroom (no bath). The room itself was tiny, with just enough space to walk around the bed, but open the French windows and the view is just magnificent! There is a very handy little fridge/minibar in the room and a kettle with tea and coffee sachets and the bed was extremely comfortable.
We watched the sun set as the tide came in and I woke at 5am and watched the red sky of the sunrise on the far side of the bay and listened to the waves lapping the beach only a few metres away. There is only the promenade between the hotel and the beach - the busy road is at the front of the hotel.
Parking is difficult so it is well worth paying the 10 Euros to hire the garage. There is only space for 2 cars, so we would recommend reserving a space if you go high season. It is a 20 minute gentle stroll to the walled city with all its restaurants, but you can walk along the promenade most of the way and avoid the traffic. The road numbering is very odd and it is much further along Le Sillon beach than the number suggests.
The room was not cheap at 93 Euros (plus garage, plus breakfast) but worth it not to have any traffic noise and to have that wonderful view of the beach.

FANTASTIC LOCATION We stayed in room 302 the top floor ocean front room which has a wonderful sea view. The room was clean and cosy but pretty small. My in-law stayed in the front side room with a disability facility, the size of bedroom & bathroom was almost double to ours. We will definitely book room 304 next time because this top floor corner suite has a sitting area with sofa and coffee table. Hotel Kyniad has a beach access lift so you don’t have to share the main lift with fully dressed people when you are soaking wet wearing just a bikini. 10 min walk to supermarket.

Hi Lewis2509
It takes about 30 minutes to walk from the ferry terminal to the hotel.
Taxis should be available and the fare is about €10
The taxi company number is 00 33 2 99 81 30 30
kind regrads
Hello,
We can offer an early check in if the room is ready.
We inform you that there is a locked luggage room to store your bags at the reception.
Kind regards
Patricia Bir / manager
Laura Guillemer / reception
The hotel only has garage space for only 2 cars and it is by reservation only. So if you are lucky enough when you book and it is available then that's good.
However there are loads of off road parking nearby the hotel, if you are patient enough you might probably get to park nearby to the hotel.
On the two various occasions of staying at the hotel, we've managed to find parking space opposite the hotel.
Dogs are allowed (breakfast room excepted) with a €8 supplement per day.
Kind regards
