This hotel is well situated facing the ocean allowing for a nice walk on the beach, a stroll into town or a great workout along the ramparts. I would highly suggest booking a room on the top two floors. We were on the second floor and although our visit was not during a busy time/season, I can see where things could be noisy during the summer. The street below is well traveled.

I am giving this hotel 4 stars because while very nice, there is room for improvement. Room size was nice with enough space to hang and store clothing and bed was very comfortable. Our room had a separate toilet area but it was almost impossible to use it and be able to close the door. Badly designed and could be difficult for others. Also, they have not upgraded their hairdryers to unattached free-held units. The attached wall unit with the power button you must constantly hold while drying is tiring and archaic. I did appreciate the non-slip tile in the shower.

Lastly, don’t waste your money on the breakfast. The offerings are very pedestrian and the croissants were tasteless. Regarding their on-site lounge and restaurant, both are well worth a visit. Wonderful cocktail offerings in the lounge which offers great views. The restaurant turns out innovative, flavorful, creative dishes and the service is impeccable.

I stayed again at this hotel, which always remains a great solution in Saint Malo for the beautiful location on the Sillon. With the balcony overlooking the beach, the show is assured and always exciting. However I do not give the maximum score because I found some signs of the weather that would need to be fixed. Linen and bathrobes need renovation, as well as the lobby and cleaning of common areas. I also insist that a paltry kettle in a room sold at that price is truly inadequate. That's too bad.

Reservation made by telephone, to guarantee the partial sea view room and above all the free addition of an extra bed for my 9 year old child.
The hotel's location is ideal, less than 15 minutes' walk from the ramparts, with a breathtaking view of the sea. Possibility of parking for free nearby or booking at an additional cost, the hotel car park.
The room is spacious despite the extra bed which is really comfortable. The view of the sea is magnificent. Quality bedding with bathrobes for each of us 3, slippers and chocolates. And even a “seagull” cuddly toy for my child.
Unlimited access to the swimming pool and Hammam.
Breakfast is located in the main restaurant which has the same lovely view of the sea. Very high quality buffet even if it is not extensive. We can only criticize that certain products are not renewed when it ends (eg pancakes on the day we were there) and I don't know if there was the possibility of ordering fried eggs for example in addition.
But the service is very professional and the products presented are quality and very tasty.
Very successful stay and unrivaled value for money.

The hotel offers very nice rooms in a great location (opposite the beach and a few minutes away from Intra Saint-Malo (the old city center). The swimming pool is very small but quite nice.
There is one main drawback: the roomservice. The offer is very poor. There is nothing for vegans and the portions are very very small. For example, we ordered a veggie burger and we got 4 slices of tomato on a plate with 4 croutons! No bread!
Also, the rooms of the spa need a bit of decorating. Right now, the rooms look more like a sick room that a Spa (no decoration, day light...).

A true 4-star hotel, tasteful decoration, very clean, visibly new or recently renovated, pleasant and distinguished service.
Superior room with city view, very good, very clean carpet which did not trigger allergies, spacious and well soundproofed.
The location 500 meters from the walled city and right in front of the magnificent Sillon beach is incredible.
A real underground car park on two levels with spaces that you can reserve in advance (really, it's not first come first served like the other hotels) a rare commodity in the area.
Rather qualitative breakfast, a little more local products and better quality coffee would be desirable and largely feasible given the price (22€).
Very nice spa, hamam and swimming pool even if it can get a little crowded.

You can come to the New World with your eyes closed, no unpleasant surprises, no traps...if you can pay the price.

good welcome
breakfast with varied good quality products the staff who monitor it are available and friendly
the room we had (premium sea view) shows a lack of attention to maintenance (significant traces of humidity on the shower ceiling)
the plinth at the window is broken; a lot of cigarette butts were in the gutter on the left side of this window
Paper peeled off next to the furniture to place the suitcases
As the hotel was closed at the beginning of December it would have been wise to remedy these problems during this period; monitoring should be done throughout the year
In addition, the housekeeping leaves something to be desired

This hotel is perfectly situated on the waterfront boardwalk, a 10 minute walk into the old fortress walled city. It is very upscale and clean. Our room was on the top floor; the balcony’s incredible views of the sea, the towers, the fortress, and the forts on small surrounding rocks off shore were the highlight of our stay. The furniture was cluttered and it took us some time to figure out how to place our luggage for use and access. No luggage racks, so we had to move furniture around where we could to free up some space on the floor, which made it very difficult to access and live out of the suitcase. One had to fit only under the built-in desk. This was incredibly annoying and very difficult. There was some storage in the closet and buil- in shelves, and a small frig. Lighting was dark, the carpet was worn, and the room was cramped. Parking is in the underground garage.

The sea escape room (view of the sea on the side) is very comfortable. The staff is smiling and very attentive to the well-being of their customers. The rooms are spotless and having a kettle to make tea and coffee is very nice.

However, I remove one star from the restaurant. The meals are delicious, original and well presented, but only one starter and one vegetarian main course are offered. Half board means eating the same thing every day.

We stayed at the Hotel Le Nouveau Monde almost a week in August, and found it more than completely satisfactory.. Our room was very comfortable quiet except for the gulls; the hotel itself was only a 20 minute walk from the old city (there's also a bus, 2 euros each and the garage (16 euro/night) made getting any where a treat. The restaurant 7Mers had elegant dinners and a super buffet breakfast. Service was first rate in every respect. In short, nothing but praise. Well worth th visit.
