The manoir is an old building with quite it's charm. It looks like an old hotel. Nonetheless we were a little disappointed about the breakfast. The host knew that we would leave early in the morning and promised to prepare everything and yet we had to phone him in the morning because there was nobody around. He prepared everything in...

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at the Manoir de la Baronnie. Benoit was a great host and each morning we enjoyed an excellent breakfast. It was unhurried and we had time to chat to the other guests. This is a beautiful, old manor house full of character and history. We stayed in the romantic chambre des anges which...

What once must have been a beautiful home is now rather tired and run down. Large rooms and bathrooms with very tired linen. The bed cover was not clean and the bathroom toiletries were never topped up over our 3 night's stay. Good continental breakfast, but the overall impression was rather impersonal and for the price we paid we would...

A bit run down. Very old but somehow looked a bit neglected. Good big room and a modern bathroom. Lovely black granite washbasins had been cleaned with lime scale remover which has damaged them. The TV had no signal and the only member of staff we saw said he could only serve breakfast from 830 am. It was too late...

Old and quaint but our room was a little run down and not the cleanest. We felt that the staff were a little indifferent in general but in fairness were helpful when asked to book taxis into St Malo. Gardens were nice. It is a bit of a trek into the old town and there didnt seem to be many...

We spent one night here before getting the ferry home. After a long drive on a hot day this hotel was an oasis of cool and comfort. The room was very good, spacious and carefully furnished as is the whole hotel. It is an old manor house. There is a pleasant quiet garden with deck chairs & sun loungers. The...

Le Manoir is a difficult place to find in not the best, or most convenient, part of St Malo but once inside the gates all of that is forgotten. On entering the property you are transported back in time. The owner claims to be related to Robert Surcouf, a notable Corsiar, and the house has the feeling of being a...

This is a must stay place in Saint Malo. We were welcomed into the owners 350 year old home and stayed two nights while visiting Mon Saint Michel and the old Saint Malo town. A choice of very large and comfortable period furnished rooms. Stunning bathrooms and all exceptionally clean. Our bedroom was the governors room and very large, looked...
