This charming family-hotel is located on the sea side with a direct access on the beach without crossing the street . It is ideally located between the historic city center of Saint-Malo (Intra-Muros) and the Thermal Baths. Many of these sites and others are reachable by foot in a few minutes following and enjoying the sea side. Pascal, the new owner, will be at heart to welcome you personally in completey renovated rooms. The speciality of the hotel cuisine is the crêpes Bretonnes (French buckweat pancakes) that we hope to make you (re) discover in an Art Deco dinning room with a breathtating view of the sea. On the roof top of the hotel is a panoramic terrace where you can enjoy our different cocktails and according to the schedule, listen to live music.

We spent 2 nights there and it’s for sure that we would like to come back)
The room was middle-sized, but very clean and bright. The sea-view rooms cost around 50 euro more per night, but certainly worth it. The sound of the waves and lots of seagulls, that you can feed right from your window, is very relaxing. Great roof terrace with nice view and bar. The minus is that we had asked for a room with French balcony (means 1st to 3rd floor) while booking well in advance, but we got a 4th-floor one with a regular window. Still it was unforgettable in the positive sense)

Absolutely worthwhile, in our view, to take the seaside rooms, which at the lower floors have a balcony in addition. The room has been very clean and bright, with everything (bed, bathroom, TV, wifi, coffee machine...) in very good shape.

From the start, I want to say the staff were fantastic, pleasant, friendly and helpful, 10/10
We originally booked a balcony on the seafront, we weren't allocated one but reception soon sorted that.
The room 102, looked from the start clean, unfortunately for the hotel my wife is a housekeeper in a château and once she noticed dust she took a closer look, dusty bedside spot light and skirting board. Shower gel in the grouting in shower and the frame where the shower glass is attached was very dirty. The toilet/ shower is very small around the toilet. Another point about the shower, the next day my wife was in the shower, I stepped out of bed and put my feet into a pool of water, the shower is to fast for the waste, the water ran out of the back of the base, flooding the bathroom and running like a river into the bedroom.
The bedroom, small, but then it's not like we were spending much time in it, the bed was clean and very comfortable with a great view over the sea. Just 2 coffee capsules, we asked for more and were given another 2. The balcony was small but enough room for 2 people to sit at a small table.
Restaurant, it was raining on and off so didn't want to walk to a restaurant so ate at the hotel, very good food, my St Jacques a little overcooked, slightly chewy but was tasty enough. Breakfast, not cheap so ordered plenty, very good breakfast, when we went in there was only 4 other people, so really no excuse for a chipped plate and cracked jug.
Roof terrace, we had a lot of rain so although the terrace was open there was no service, we bought a couple of beers and climbed the five flights of stairs, the wife has not long come out of hospital and found the stairs hard work but we reached the top to have our beers, using the restaurant later we realised there is a lift just hidden around the corner from reception, this goes to the 4th floor, thanks for telling us. The furniture on the terrace was in a very poor condition I wouldn't risk sitting on the plastic chairs, the seats were falling to pieces.
Parking, when we arrived at the hotel we couldn't find a parking place, I telephoned the hotel and was told there was a no parking place just outside the hotel and we could park there to check-in and unload our cases, we asked about parking and was offered a secure space over the road, the hotel had 2 places, I think it was €16. So parked the car there, later we realised that parking on the sea front was free and just a bit of patience and we probably would have got a place.
Check out, the bill presented to us was about €100 more than I expected so I went through it with the receptionist, a lot of food and drink I never had, I was shown the bar bills, no not me, not my signature. Bill re-done, we checked out.
Would I stay there again? Nothing really to put my off, but would probably try somewhere else.

Very nice location: beachfront acces and rather close to city center (15 min walk).
Rooms are small and furniture is a little outdated; shower however is of good quality (screen does not prevent entirely wetting of rest of room). We did read about small rooms in earlier reviews, so this was not a real disappointement.
We booked three rooms, and in all rooms there were some towels missing. This however was due to problem with (external) laundry service, so hotel is not really to blame for this.
Breakfast was OK, but limited in choice.
Airconditioning in rooms would be a great plus (or at least a ventilator): during our stay the temperature was 40° +, is was very difficult to sleep, even with windows wide open.

This hotel is right on the beach at Sillon, just 10-15 minutes walk from the walls of St.Malo. Perfect location for a summer visit, away from the more crowded centre. Easy parking on local streets.

Spectacular View & Spectacular Prices - €30 for an inadequate breakfast & €35 for a ordinary bottle of wine. Waiting staff young and gormless did not keep place adequately topped up. Everything very hit and miss. Parking outside

Staff disinterested , lift was broken so my father had to struggle up 2 flights of stairs. Tried to book in for dinner only to be told the restaurant was full, even to guests. Spoke to the chef who begrudgingly accepted 3 of us for dinner, although there was no-one else in the bar? we had prepaid our stay and was told this by staff on booking in, however on check out we were told we had to pay again in full, we did query showing our paid statement on line this but was told firmly by staff that we had to pay, so we did. On returning to the UK we contacted booking.com who confirmed we were owed money but at this time the hotel has refused to engage with us.
room was lovely, shame the staff were disinterested and dishonest

The location was perfect.
The room was clean and bathroom facilities good.
My friend and I got given two rooms on the top floor , it was difficult for us to climb the stairs with our luggage , the lift was not working .
We went out for lovely dinner , to our surprise we found out there was a roof top bar above us with loud music and crowds of people partying .
When the music finally stopped and the bar emptied we fell asleep .
There was then a fire evacuation , this can't be helped I know , we stood outside with all other guests , no staff came out to let us know what was happening .
Eventually one of the guests went inside and found out it was ok to go back to bed.
We asked for a part refund for the loud music and no sleep in the morning , the staff just said ok ??? I wrote to them when I got back home , they have ignored my request for part of my room cost
