Unfortunately my husband, dog and I could only spend one night at La Reserve. This definitely was not enough. I have stayed at a lot of wonderful 4 and 5 star hotels and this was up with the best. We booked it directly. The booking was efficient, helpful and charming. When we arrived, the Receptionists were a total delight. We...

Perfect, quite position, walk into St Jean de Luz, good choice of bars and restaurants, beautiful beach walks. Hotel reception staff friendly, not easy to find service at the bar, but then they did have a wedding party to look after, which also meant the hotel restaurant was closed...this was a shame as it did look good, so maybe next...

We initially booked three "standard" rooms for three couples in September, and then upgraded one step to get rooms with views of the ocean. The price jumped from 115 Euros to 185 -- and we didn't feel the extra was worth the extra price. The personnel were generally welcoming, though we found the servers at the buffet breakfast tended to...

Stayed here for one night on the way to St Malo drivelling from Salamanca. The hotel is located in a very residential area and would not be easy to find without sat nav .The hotel itself is low rise with most of the rooms looking out over the sea and what looks like quite a nice beach. The rooms all seem to...

We arrived at the La Réserva hotel at Sunday the 28th of august. We had a room at the first floor and for me it was very difficult to climb the stairs, due to my poor condition at that moment. Being for around 10 minutes in our room the receptionist called and cautiously offered us a room at the ground...

Food in the restaurant is good. Rooms amenities are very basic. No face towels, body lotion, sewing kit or complimentary bottle of water. Not acceptable for a room that cost €190 nightly. Pool was closed. Staff however are very helpful and friendly.

We always enjoy coming here and often want to stay longer. rooms are small but well equipped and the staff are always helpful and cheerful. The hotel parking is expensive and local parking can be awkward to find. we love the relaxed feel to the place.

Spent 2 nights in this hotel at start of trip doing mainly North of Spain. Decided to dip into this part of France as never visited. Well what a surprise. Hotel set on Pointe St Barbare above St Jean De Luz and enjoys spectacular views of the Atlantic raddled coast. The ocean is spectacular, huge breakers and the beaches to...

Arrived tired after ferry crossing to Bilbao. Reception staff welcoming and helpful. Standard double room clean and well appointed. Air con bit on noisy side. St Jean de Luz 1 mile away, easy walk. Nice basque coastal town well worth visiting. Hotel has superb grounds with fantastic views out to the Bay of Biscay. Late September still able to sit...
