Firstly, the positives: the hotel is in a good, central location - easily walkable from the train station (as long as you don't mind an uphill!). The room itself was attractive, and clean, and big enough for a short stay. The downsides: we had a room on the front of the hotel, overlooking the main street. The room had no...

We arrived by train and walked up the path to the hotel, but we could easily have got the small funicular. The hotel is very comfortable, very friendly and kindly allowed us to leave our luggage with them for a few days while we went trekking in the Pyrenees mountains.

The hotel has en superb location in the centre. The staff is welcoming. The common areas are a little dated but clean. The breakfast is nothing special, but sufficient. We stayed in Pau for an event. A visit to Pau of 1 day will do

We booked last minute through booking.com whilst driving from pampolona in Spain through to Bordeaux. We had three rooms, two small but lovely doubles on the third floor, quietly located, with showers with lots of hot water and the rooms both had air conditioning. We also had a premier double on the first floor with a superking size bed and...

Great small hotel right in the heart of Pau. Very welcoming and good standard of service and of care. Clean throughout and lovely decor. Worked an absolute treat for us as a family. Booked through the hotel's own website where we got a half price offer.

A decent hotel but pricey for what it is and the "continental" breakfast buffet was terrible value. The wifi wasn't good either. Have to keep signing in all the time - annoying! Hotel was clean though, in good location and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

This hotel is ideally located in the centre of Pau. For those planning to drive, the free parking is convenient but the hotel may be hard to find the first time: drive along Boulevard des Pyrenees until you almost reach the Chateau de Pau in order to reach the location. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the breakfast adequate, and...

Round the corner from the train station and central for shopping, bars and restaurants. Staff were pleasant. Room had some cobwebs but other than that , perfect! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

The location near the old town and availability of private parking made this hotel seem like a good choice, though it was not easy to access with all the one-way streets. Within, it is lacking in charm and warmth--just serviceable. The carpets and walls of the elevator were a bit shabby and had seen better days, When we arrived upstairs...

Great hotel. Nicely decorated. Comfortable room and nice breakfast. Excellent value. Would definitely recommend. Brilliant location for shops, bars and restaurants. Staff do not speak great English but we managed so not a problem.
