The building has a lot of history and the rooms were clean with comfortable beds. Not a lot of amenities but the wifi worked well. Great pool and wonderful staff. They gave us a map with the different restaurants and all were walking distance from the hotel. Free, private parking a bonus. Air conditioning not needed as the open window... More

As you can see from the photos, the hotel is in the middle of a very nice setting with a large swimming pool offering a view to the cliffs of eyzies. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and can give good tips on where to have dinner in the village. The rooms are below expectations though, they are badly... More

Older hotel, rooms not large but very clean and adequate. Toilet is separate from bath. We slept well here. Staff were very helpful. They do have a pool which would have been very inviting but for the rain. Breakfast was okay, other hotels have had a larger selection of items.

I am in the travel industry and was staying in a nice hotel up the street. I went to take a look at this property and get some information. I was met by a very rude, almost hostile man that pretty much threw me off the grounds before I could get a word in. I guess that place will never... More

The innkeepers were very friendly and helped us find a late-night meal in town, after most things had closed. The hotel is charming and old, but very well-kept. We found it a delightful place to stay for our visit to the Font-de-Gaume Cave.

We spent a few days here in September 2015. The room was clean, but quite old-fashioned. The bed was very comfortable and as we were at the rear of the hotel, it was very quiet. The hand held shower is annoying and the separate toilet was very small for someone who is 6' 2"! We could not use the bidet,... More

This hotel is a perfect location for a visit to the area. We were there in early September (missed the rush of the season) and the hotel is located very close to the local shops and the museum. Parking is easy and Brigette (sp?) and her husband are lovely and very helpful. The room has a somewhat chain hotel feel... More

I turned up and asked for a room and accepted the one I was shown without asking the price. Oops! I nearly fell over when I saw their max price for the room is €120. The room was in the seemingly older wing of the hotel and was pretty jaded. The toilet was separate from the bathroom, and the door... More
