We have eaten in the restaurant on many occasions as it is a very close to the airport and ideal to have a quick meal before dropping people off on 'no catering' flights. They do a midday meal for €10 something which includes the buffet to start with and then a choice of main coarse. The buffet is very limited,... More

I cannot understand the comments made by some of the reviewers on this site about the Campanile. It is a budget hotel and not the Ritz or the Carlton. The location is excellent for the airport and only a short drive into Bergerac if you want a wider range of things to eat. The room was big compared to some... More

This Campanile has not yet been fully refurbished like others and as a result looks and feels very dated. We had a room backing out on the back of the hotel facing what looked like a disused warehouse. The bathroom felt extremely old and did the room itself. The staff were very nice but for the same price, I will... More

Stayed one night when travelling from the south of France back to the UK. The hotel is very basic but serviceable, bed comfortable and shower adequate. We also ate at le restaurant as it was convenient, much better than expected. Ok so not somewhere I would make a trip to or eat at by choice but it was OK for... More

This hotel is overdue for a refurb and a good tidy-up generally. Although the room was functional, it was scruffy and in need of updating. For example, the toilet pan was badly stained and the seat didn't fit. The garden areas around the hotel are overgrown and very untidy. External lights on the landings are hanging off etc. I have... On the outskirts of the old town and on the other side of the river, so if you don't have a car you will need to catch the no. 3 bus or call a taxi. Across from the budget hotel there is a convenient Buffalo Grill. Behind that, Leclerc and an Asia eatery which allows you to eat as much... More

Horrible experience! We arrived at 10.30 pm and the reception was already closed (even if in the booking was written 11.00pm), only authomatic machine not able to keep any credit cards. 2 people were forced to go to the nearest IBIS to sleep due to this lack of service. In the morning no excuses from the personnel of the hotel,... More

This is a slightly 'Tired' Campanile and the rooms are rather small and not great quality... I have stayed at better Campaniles.... but, it is fine for a night stop when enroute and it is fair value. The restaurant offers a good breakfast and overall we were perfectly happy with our stay. The evening meal was good and fair value.

I stayed for one night on a motorcycle tour to Spain. After a long day on the bike it was OK. The staff to be fair were great (English). I wouldn't recommend it for any more than this. A quick stop off on route.
