The hotel is really well located because it is close to everything without having the inconvenience of the noise of the city center. You can do everything on foot from there: the beach (8 minutes) the restaurants 5 minutes away… Even the bus station to get to the Bayonne festivals is 5 minutes away on foot. The room is certainly small but well organized, bright and with good bedding. In addition, we must also take into account the very good quality/price ratio for a city like Biarritz. Special mention for the welcome: the smile, the availability, the information on the best addresses in the neighborhood!

The rooms and bathroom are small, few power outlets and no elevator... but, everything was clean, tidy and nice. Very good location and for the area a good price to spend the night. The person who served us despite not understanding Spanish did everything he could to understand us, very friendly. The parking around is paid or very scarce, I also recognize that we left the car relatively close up the street away from the center (10 min. Walk) without paying anything since it is a small town.

We had a triple room with a terrace for 3 adults, the room was small but was fine for a 2 night break, we didn't spend much time in the hotel. It was lovely to have the terrace for fresh air and to add space to the room. This is a small Hotel and it's centrally located a few minutes walk to the main beach and to bars/restaurants but it is up a hill. I don't think there is a lift in the hotel.

The photos have nothing to do with reality. As soon as you enter the hotel, you find dirty breakfasts that have not been picked up, or simply food that has not been picked up from the girl at the reception, or an open room that has not been made up. One of the girls at the reception didn't even bother to try to speak our language (something essential in a hotel) in addition to not saying hello, very rude. On the other hand, the rooms do not have a wardrobe, nor a decent plug in the bathroom. They are old and small. In addition to the blinds not working, the legs in the bathroom were rusty and the air conditioning made an unbearable noise. Three stars? It doesn't even deserve to be described as a "hotel". The hallway carpet, it had never been cleaned in its life, was disgusting. There is no elevator, a small detail if you have suitcases. In short, nothing recommended.

Convenient location. That’s where it ends… Terrible arrogant customer service. « You are not my client, you booked on « B… », not on our website. Third floor no elevator. In-room phone doesn’t work, so no way to call the reception. Wifi information in room not updated, guests should probably guess how to make it work. The guest is always wrong…
Not soundproof at all, street noise until midnight and later. No decoration. Cheap appliances and curtain rails, etc. Totally overpriced for this 10 sqm room. Sad place. Why did I book 3 nights here?

We were relegated to a room on the 3rd floor with no elevator. Access via a very narrow staircase whose carpets in the common areas are stained and dirty.... We booked through Booking which perhaps explains this treatment…. Cramped bedroom with disjointed parquet floor, bathroom with shower cubicle with oxidized rails, unsealed toilet, low-end door unit chipped in the lower part. Traces of mold in shower tray, rusty metal soap dish. In addition, we were bitten by an insect...no explanation from the person at reception (owner?), full of himself and completely unconcerned by the situation, allowing responses bordering on impoliteness... Certainly not a three star; at the reception door a flowerpot without flowers but with cigarette butts…. These owners must certainly love money a lot but certainly not much the activity that leads to earning it and the respect of customers that goes with it... In short, totally avoid it with the photographs (if necessary) that go with it.

Small room with very good use of space! What stands out above all is that it is central and quiet. No noise! Everything very clean and cozy! Excellent price quality! Breakfast not included and available for €14… Highly Recommended

We stayed here for 4 nights after our camping car broke down. I have read many of the previous reviews and to be honest, most booking sites give you the size of the room when you book so it is an oversight of the booker. Prior to motorhoming, we stayed in hotels a lot. We were checked in, without fuss, by one of the most loveliest of receptionists after a pretty stressful time. There was water, a kettle and coffee (not always available) in the room and a great choice at breakfast. WiFi and location made our stay brilliant. We said thank you at the time and want to say that this is a great hotel and would definitely recommend it. Biarritz, wow, we were luck to breakdown here.

We Made a reservation. Came AND found that ir was a very small room, with a very small bed. A very very small bathroom with a fábric curtain for the shower. It was smelly because of the humidity of the small bathroom without window. AND the dump curtain. Check in other Places before coming to this hotel. Or at least see the room. Perfect charming small hotel to access all that Biarritz has to offer. Being a frequent solo traveller I tend to take service to heart. The owners of Oxo are extremely friendly and thoughtful. I stayed at the hotel on the tail end of a surf trip and was interested in exploring more of Biarritz. The owners suggested a soak at Thalasso Spa Thalmar . They even set me up with a bathing cap and towel. It is a very local experience with families and folks of all ages getting the kinks out. The walk from the hotel was fabulous and I suggest you time it to enjoy sundowner at Les 100 Marches. As the other reviews have stated, the rooms are small but give you everything you need. Surf is in walking distance and the hotel will store your board. Try Viennoiserie down the street for morning pastry. Hard rain on my last night drove me next door to Los Dos Hermanos, a communal style seating restaurant. The hostess not so in tune to a single dinner sat me basically in the bus station. This was not unnoticed by the very animated bartender who immediately sent me a glass of champagne. He seemed to be a bit of an institution to this restaurant. A good number of regulars seem to show up for his antics. He definitely turned around the dinning experience for me. The boudin noir was delicious. Great value for the location and service.
