Hotel very well located: right in the city center. The disadvantage: very noisy: exterior nuisance, night bar nearby, road, very poorly soundproofed room. In short, the night is short even with earplugs! Decent breakfast: good pastries. Dog accepted with supplement of 10 euros. The rooms are not very big and a little dated. The proposed parking is the Bellevue parking lot. It is advisable to arrive before 1 p.m.: street closed in August.

The position of the hotel is great. Right in middle of Biarritz. There is a nice bar for drinks & breakfast. Breakfast was €13 each & was ok. The reason for the 3* rating was the room was just ok & nothing more. The door to the room was heavy & ill fitting & the loo was extremely small (separate from shower). Shower needed a good bleaching as grouting grubby. (It’s such an easy thing to remedy I don’t know why hotel owners don’t sort it). A bit of retiling needed too. Overall, not too bad; small room but ok.

Nice little hotel with good air conditioning, clean room, good water pressure and comfy bed but the bathroom smelled like sewage our entire stay. We had to keep the door closed in room 37. Not sure if all rooms are this way. The bathroom toilet area has a cement and raised rock floor which is very painful to walk on and god only knows how they keep it clean and sanitary. It is not wipeable which might be part of the smell.
We are staying here five nights and love that it is two blocks to the beach and two blocks to great restaurants.
Buyer be aware. The woman clerk at the front desk does not speak ANY english. I speak a little french and am fluent in spanish, and although their signage is in english and spanish she speaks neither. Now I wrestle with this. Yes, I know when in a foreign country I need to speak the language-it is rude to not attempt to, as I am a guest in their house, but there needs to be a balance. An international hotel that caters to tourists needs to have a clerk who speaks at least two languages. They are there to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. I was definately NOT comfortable when I tried to explain to her that we had two reservations-one for four days, and one for one day. I tried to show her the separate reservation numbers and she got angry and insisted I was booked for only four total nights, not five. I finally just gave up and realized I would have to check out on sunday morning and show her our check in papers for sunday afternoon on Sunday. It was obviously too much for her to handle to deal with MY limited french. She wouldnt even try even though I attempted.
Bar staff (man) does speak english and french and was very nice when he waited on us. DJ was also cool and spun great music. Bar area is relaxing and good for people watching.
Due to non english speaking desk clerk and sewage smell I wont stay here again.

Very well located hotel, with a super friendly and accommodating team. You can count on them to have good restaurant addresses. Clean room, comfortable bedding. Very varied and good quality breakfast. There is something for every taste. The geographical location is very advantageous when you want to have everything nearby: beach, restaurants, bars, shops, etc. (only small downside: there is life so there is noise, even late at night)
It’s a shame that the corridors and room doors are not in as good condition as the reception and the bar where you have breakfast.

We only came for brunch and it was frankly disappointing... First of all, we had reservations and our table was still unavailable at the time of reservation. We had to wait outside in the rain... The arrangement of the products is really not practical and a lot of ready-made products. We were very disappointed. On the other hand, the employees were very nice.

This is not simply another characterless chain hotel. The rooms are quite large and very well decorated. The cleaning team does a great job and everything about this place seems fresh. The hotel staff are very present and helpful and the common areas are attractive and bright. Although quite pricey, the hotel represents good value in this expensive town and its position smack bang in the centre of town makes it all worthwhile. The breakfast was most impressive. Top quality and varied, it represents good value at €13. A wonderful stay.

Excellent city centre hotel. This is a very welcoming and quirky hotel in a very cosmopolitan city, the influences of the resort being both a seaside venue and popular with surfers is very apparent. The facilities are modern and well thought out. We stayed for two nights on a road trip to Portugal, using it as a stopover going and coming back over five days. They very kindly offered to keep us in the same room overlooking the vibrant streets of Biarritz, which in a very pleasant way can be busy with the night revellers but not annoyingly noisy. The breakfast is excellent with a very good choice of fresh produce. We will return for a vacation in the future and this will be our choice of hotel.

I spent a few days every summer. It changes for better every time I go there. The rooms are well decorated. Cleanliness is faultless. Beds are spacious and comfortable. Imagine the breakfasts...
I also loved the bar downstairs. Cocktails are original and well done. Music is not that mainstream thing you hear in numerous nightclubs and bars in Biarritz. Very appreciating.
This place is young and funny in an elegant style. Highly recommended. Thanks to all the Palacito Staff

The hotel is well located, one street next to the seaside. End of good review. If not, the rooms overlooking the street are very noisy, especially that there is a club just 10 meters away. The wifi is not working, so the TV. You have to wait for 10 mns all the time at the reception as there is nobody all the time. Cleaning is not optimal. Very disapointed by the service. Surely doesn't deserve a 3 stars ranking...
