We chose this chateau as an easy access, one night stop on our drive up from Spain. We booked a Superior Room in the Hunting Lodge and we were delighted with it. Our room was modern, very tastefully decorated, and the bathroom and shower were great. The bed was super King-Size and we had a good night's sleep. The Chateau...

Such a lovely find. A very warm welcome from the lady on reception who spoke very good English (our French being peppered with Spanish as we had been speaking Spanish for a month!). Nothing was too much trouble for her. She gave us a list of restaurants in the area and when we asked for something specific which wasn't on...

We accidently stumbled across Le Chateau du Claire de Lune, and booked a 2nd night. It was so relaxing and lovely, the tranquility of sitting in the garden and enjoying views of the Pyrenees, having a lovely breakfast with good coffee on the Verandah overlooking the water Fountains and garden. There is a restaurant next door you walk to thru...

Dear guest, thanks a lot for this feedback. We believe you must have really enjoyed your stay with us as you booked finally 2 nights instead of 1. Regarding your price list for the bar, we are quite surprise with your comments as we must be one of the least expensive 4 stars hotel bar in the all area and...

This Chateau is located close to the motorway and the airport. Initially we were a bit disappointed. The interior and our room smelt a bit musty. The furnishings are traditional but a bit worn and faded. However we grew to appreciate the charms of this beautiful building. The pool area with its views of the Pyrenees was stunning and a...

Thanks for your feedback. Reading your comment, I believe you must book in the hunting lodge instead of coming back only for the pool. Chateau has an elegant beginning of century decoration mixed with trendy furnitures, hiwever the lodge is much more modern with private terrasse. We will be more than happy if next time you wish to call us...

Breaking up a road trip with just a one night stay with my mother and a terrier. The room was interesting but not expensive but single beds only 2.5'. excellent grounds for running the dog and the only dinner option is a separately owned restaurant next door, which was very good with a nice owner, highly recommended.

I must say that I really enjoyed our stay at the Clare Du Lune. We were very well received by Miriam who gave us a list of restaurants for the town and showed us to our room in the Hunting Lodge. There are large gardens to wander in and a lovely pool area with a view looking straight at the...

The property was in a good location close to beaches and lovely country towns. Close to Bayonne and Biarritz, easy commute to airport. The rooms had lovely old furniture and decor and were comfortable. There was a lovely lounge and bar area for guests to enjoy, swimming pool and also had onsite parking.

We stayed for one night but wish it had been longer. Wonderful pool and grounds to explore and an interesting and authentic chateau, especially in the classic rooms in the main house. A little noise from the motorway but every effort has been made to screen the road. It's a little way from the town, but the setting more than...

Loved it! Rooms were great, gardens are pretty - a 10 -15 minute drive from most things, would highly recommend if you have a car! Staff were brilliant and super helpful with everything. Would definitely return.
