Prior to our stay on 12th August a very pleasant lady from the hotel called me twice (I'd thought it was a foreign call centre at first and was, to be quite honest, a little bit rude to her initially). Luckily she persisted and had contacted me as I'd queried access how near we could park to the hotel as... More

Zero service, we arrived on a Sunday afternoon in July and were given a number to enter the front door, our room number was indicated on a notice, 3rd floor! Looked for the lift, no lift, only a very steep spiral staircase. There was no way I, with a health issue could go up and down those stairs, let alone... More

My family stayed here in June 2016. We had the master suite on the first floor. A gorgeous 2 bedroom, with small terrace room. It was lovely. You can't stay here expecting 5* star luxury but you can stay here expecting to feel like you've stepped into a traditional French townhouse. The rooms are clean, comfortable (the bed was one... this is a nice and comfortable apartment style hotel with a nice upgrade done in bathrooms and rooms in general , the only down fall was there was no lift and getting you luggage up to the top floor a challenge ( although the young man at the desk carried it up for me !!) the other draw back was... We were staying in Bordeaux for 3 nights and this looked perfect. Unfortunately we had one large room with tea making facilities and a small fridge and a bedroom. The main sitting room had a double bed and a very loud stand alone air conditioner. You knew it was going to be noisy when you find ear plugs on your... More

Nice idea to take an old apartment building and transform it into a guest house! My studio was on the 3 rd floor, large, with kitchenette separate bathroom and WC. The blessing was the air conditioning as it was a hit day! The bed was excellent! When you arrive you are given a code for the entrance door as there... More

The " Hotel " consist of apartments in two buildings, opposite each other. Access is via a medieval spiral stone staircase - but helpful staff handled our suitcases. The rooms are fair sized and have basic amenities. The great plus is the very central location with many attractions and transport infrastructure within a few minutes walk. Friendly, English speaking staff... More

Stayed in the studio apartment which was spacious, had a couch, full kitchen and table. Room had air con and was well decorated with some neat features like the velux blinds. Free breakfast was adequate. Hotel is very centrally located. Only a short walk to the nearest tram stop for access to the train station. Be aware there is not... More

We stayed in the large 3 bed apartment situated opposite the hotel itself. Apartment was nice, only modestly decorated and whilst it was only slightly more than basic in terms of decor and furniture (not the most comfortable sitting room) it was a large spacious apt over 2 floors to give everyone more than enough space for a short stay,... First tip if you are arriving late is phone ahead to check the door code. A delightful place to start your exploration of Bordeaux. Not as close to the River as some, it is clean and basic with nice comfy beds and suits a short stay. There are no views from the lower rooms but I believe there is a... More
