Wow, this room was small. I could touch every door from the bed, thankfully I am small because anyone taller than 1m60 would have their feet hanging off the end of the single bed. I shared my cell with two mosquitoes, who had by far the better deal and a better night than me. The constant roar of the A/C... More

Clean, friendly, place to stay and see the city! Single room, small but cool and quiet. (air conditioned and at the back). In the middle of the shopping area and sights. Would come again! Told I have to say more before I can post Bordeaux a vibrant city and lovely run alone the river this morning!🏃

The rooms are really small, can't fit 2 people, the wifi didn't work for all 4 days, the staff is useless and not friendly, nobody can make any decision at all. Really poor reception, it's far from a 3 stars hotel.

We repeatedly complained about the lack of functional air conditioning. One clerk didn't believe that it was broken and wouldn't even come to the room and the other just said it wasn't his fault and he couldn't help us. Needless to say it was a hot, sleepless night. Top that off with a horrible bed and run down accommodations and... More

Our second visit to this hotel and no better than the first time. I had said I would avoid this hotel after our first stay but I forgot the name and landed up there again. The worst thing about the place is that the bed is HARD - uncomfortably so. The reception was not good - we arrived a bit... More

This is a small but clean hotel. It is in a perfect location for exploring the city. Rooms are small very basic but comfortable. Some rooms over look the main shopping street and it can get pretty noisy at night with the revellers coming out of the bars. Other rooms overlook a building site where the workmen start at 6am.... A great little hotel, very clean and centrally located to sights, transport, restaurants, cafés and bars. Booked a single room which was compact offering all the facilities needed. Had 3 nights here and felt very comfortable. Would stay here again.

We stayed for just 1 night but had 2 nice rooms. They were very clean, comfy and both had an air con + a TV. You get the most for an affordable price. The staff was okay, but not above the average of french service, which isn't to high in general. the location couldn't be better, since you are in... More

Have stayed here on two occasions and found it to be very good. Have recommended la Presse many times, but on this occasion we were given a very small room for two. Hardly room for two suitcases. We thought we had booked direct but now realise we were shunted through Gala Hotels site and I feel they couldn't care less... More
