My wife and I stayed for four nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed! The staff were particularly helpful and friendly; all requests were dealt with efficiently, and the room was always cleaned to a high standard. Although breakfast was not cheap at 16.50 E per person, it was of high quality and there was a...

Having stayed at other hotels in Bordeaux on previous occasions we were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The check in was efficient and our room was ready on arrival at mid-day. The room was of a good size, clean and comfortable. Breakfast on both mornings of our stay was of good standard. The staff we found to be attentive, helpfull...

True to form, the Mercure provides a decent basic bed for the night, but whoever designs the decor (in all the Mercure hotels) needs a lesson in the meaning of chic. Garish plastic sofas and furniture show lack of taste and cutting corners and don't make any contribution to a feeling of relaxation. On the contrary, the very sight of...

Thank you for your comments regarding your stay with us and want to make some clarifications. Indeed, the decor is completely redone in 2012 style trend in France and it is brand Kartell furniture, a brand whose reputation is well established and whose rates have nothing to do with furniture plastic which you speak. However, we understand that this is...

My wife and I stayed for two nights, both because this hotel was the venue for an old friend's party and because I am an Accor club member. The staff were friendly and helpful, though for the most part very young and inexperienced (it made no sense for a young waitress to object to us choosing a table for four...

Thank you for the comments that you wore on our stay in our hotel. We would like to clarify that we actually train young adults restoration trades but they are always supervised by our permanent staff. Sometimes they make mistakes we have to correct. Regarding the separate bathroom toilet, this is an advantage in France which allowed us to obtain...

Have stayed here only one night, and that was a good one. The hotel rooms are comfortable, although you might be able to hear some of the people in the next room. The staff is friendly. I loved the view of their restaurant / breakfast room, with a terrace that lets you see all over the river and city. Breakfast...

This is located beside the conference centre in a modern courtyard and is very much a conference centre hotel. The decor is not to my taste and was tired and drab in places but my room was large and the bed comfortable. I had a lovely view out over the rooftops. There was a damp musty smell in the room...

As it's name suggests this hotel is within the Congress Centre of Bordeaux but is 100 metres from the river and promenade and 10 minutes walk to the "old town" one way and to the recently developed quay the other way.The area behind the hotel is the Antiques district with a lot of restaurants and bars surrounding the market which...

Only stayed one night whilst travelling through France. We had used our points with Nat West to pay for the room and had a booked a superior one not knowing what to expect as they differ so much from place to place and thinking that as we were using ' points ' we would not get the best of rooms....

We stopped off in Bordeaux on the way home from Spain. Chose the hotel because of secure parking (we have a ragtop). Public parking but secure & costly. Easy to find- follow signs to Cite mondialepark & get lift up to just outside the hotel. A business hotel- facilities were limited at weekend & breakfast service slow- 2 staff had...
