It would be very hard to find an hotel better situated. Almost everywhere could be reached on foot, and the trams were nearby. The staff were all very friendly and well-informed when asked, for instance, to make restaurant reservations. Although very central, the hotel was on a quiet side street. The breakfast buffet was in a pleasant room on the...

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room was quite nice and while smaller than the normal American hotel room, it certainly was spacious enough for our needs. The location could not have been better...short walking distance to the historical center and to public transportation.

The title pretty well says it all. Rooms are more than basic. Electrical outlets are at a premium. Had to unplug the television in order to charge my computer. But the staff is very friendly and helpful. Pricing is very reasonable.

This was a one night stay and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. This is a lovely hotel well positioned to explore the city. The day we stayed the weather was warm and the bedrooms even warmer. There was no heating on thank goodness and I tried to operate the air conditioning but there was no electrical supply....

It was fifteen years ago when we were last there (the decor hasn't changed mind!) and it's even better now with the trams a few seconds away. That aside it offers a pleasant welcome, very dated but acceptable rooms and a decent breakfast. For a city centre hotel for a few days with no frills it's absolutely fine and we'd...

Stayed here one night for a business trip. Room was clean and tidy. Plenty of towels on the bathroom. Excellent Wi-Fi connection for my Moby & laptop. Didn't eat here. Person at reception was very helpful and receptive and spoke really good English. Breakfast started at 6.30am but had to leave at 6.30am so got a doggy bag of croissants...

This is a very well-placed hotel, right in the heart of Bordeaux, just around the corner from the Opera and by a major tram stop. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the staff are welcoming and the breakfast is scrummy! One thing - if arriving by car, best be a capable driver as parking in their underground car park requires...

The Hotel Majestic is located in the central area of Bordeaux. It is near a major tram stop, and close to the Opera and banking centers. The staff is very helpful, especially with local recommendations. You can store your luggage if necessary. The hotel has a lovely lounge/breakfast area. The rooms are nicely appointed and large. Very comfortable bed. Fairly...

This is an excellent city hotel and as others have said in a great location. The reception staff were very good with a great command of English despite my attempts to speak with them in French. We had a superior room which was very comfortable, modern and contemporary. Nice minibar that I have to mention as it contained the famed...
