We were in room 48 on the fourth floor. Builders were working directly outside the room and on the roof directly above us. Very noisy banging and sliding heavy stuff above our heads. View from the window was of builders' legs, scaffold poles, buckets full of old tiles and the scaffold was covered with plastic sheeting; total non view. The... More

Very disappointed as this hotel was in the smart part of the city. Very hard to find as off a large roundabout down a tiny narrow street. Decoration of room disgusting. Stained carpets with rough edges on very shallow steps to separate toilet and bathroom. Paint on window all peeling off. The hotel is being refurbished and therefore they should... More

This hotel is in an excellent location to explore the city. It's just a few minutes walk from the best bits! We found it to be a clean room. The staff are also very helpful and friendly. That's where the good bits end though I'm afraid. We stayed in a room that in my opinion shouldn't be rented out. It... More

It's a 1 star hotel. We find it dirt and filthy. The bed need to be changed. No curtains and no blind so everybody in the building in front of the hotel may see you. The shower lose a lot of water and the moquette of the bathroom (moquette in the bathroom yes!!!) it was totally wet. Absolutely overrated. Reserve... More

I have never written a negative review but our 21st wedding anniversary was ruined because of this hotel. We booked a comfort room. I emailed the hotel the week before to say it was our 21st wedding anniversary and we were looking forward to our stay. On arrival we were definitely NOT given a comfort room. It is now clear... We stayed here recently in a comfort room which was small and tired. There was a lack of privacy in the bathroom with evidence of some form of blind or curtain fitting - broken and in need of repair. There was nowhere to hang towels. When busy breakfast is offered in the bedroom. The table in our room was very... More

We chose this hotel mainly because of it's fantastic position within this wonderful town. However, although we'd booked two 'comfort' rooms we were quite disappointed - they looked absolutely nothing like the ones shown on the web site. Both were very small, one of them had no blind on the window in the bathroom, nowhere to hang towels and very... More

Parking is a nightmare, ensure you contact the hotel to ascertain the parking garage they have an agreed discount with otherwise it's around €20 a night (Weekend) for the pleasure. Easy to find with a very pleasant and lovely welcome by male bi-lingual receptionist who was very helpful. Hotel and rooms unfortunately dated, didn't see breakfast so cannot comment but... More

Greeted by a cheerful man with a charmingly idiosyncratic english (still better than my French, mind you) we were given a large, airy room, and a feature wall made of the ancient exposed brickwork. The en suite was modern and stylish with a full-sized bath but strangely had no shower curtain. The ceilings were pleasantly high and there was plenty... More

This hotel is in central location and also accessible by the airport bus No.1, but it is an old hotel. However, I found that they have an annex that has air-conditioned rooms, much to my relief. This is a 2* hotel, and admittedly I am more used to 4 and 5 star properties. Yet the new wing's rooms are reasonably... More
