I stayed 3 nights in October (1 in basalt & 2 in Sand room), both were totally gorgeous. The whole place is gorgeous as are the ever accommodating & helpful hosts Veronique & Yann. It smells good, the rooms are super clean, the towels and linen superb, very luxurious and worth the $$. I slept deeply and awoke to delicious...

I reserved via email with the owner, Madame Veronique. We arrived around 1pm. Luckily I read some reviews and asked Veronique to reserve a parking space for our car or ti would have been a nightmare find one single park space around. The B&B is in Quai des Chartrons a bohemien area, not exactly in the heart of the city,...

This is a very charming bed and breakfast, with luxury touches and a great location. The owners are exceptionally friendly and made all efforts to help with directions and tips in English. Breakfast is very good and so is sleep quality. You can easily walk to the center of Boredeaux but public transport is great and you have a tram...

We spent three nights and very much enjoyed our stay at Ecolodge. Veronique and her son were particularly friendly with plenty of helpful advice. Our room was large and comfortable with a spacious well equiped ensuite. The b & b was eclectically furnished, quiet and very warm and comfortable. It is a short walk to the river, trams, restaurants, interesting...

Most enjoyable experience: an attractive and interesting part of Bordeaux; quiet side street; beautifully restored building, tastefully decorated; comfortable, clean facilities; lovely, welcoming people; delightful breakfast. We hope to stay again.

My husband and I stayed here on a whim, entirely based on trip advisor reviews and we were not disappointed! We stayed during the heat wave in June in the attic room. The hosts were so accommodating! They even put an air cooling unit and a wireless router in the room to make it more comfortable. The place itself is...

We stayed just one night at Ecolodge des Chartrons on our way through to the coast. What a beautiful building and lovely home with lots of style and comfort. We were treated very warmly and loved our room, The Tuscany. Breakfast was delicious, served at one big table, with our genial host attending to our every need. We had a...

It's not trendy--far from it. It's not hip. And it's not all together. But it's a friendly, cozy, interesting alternative in the middle of Bordeaux (in the less touristy Chartrons area), run by a couple that lives there. Most rooms open onto a central courtyard, which doubles as the breakfast area, so those rooms can be a bit noisy. But...

The house is gorgeous and relaxing, and Yann is a charming and knowledgable host who knows Bordeaux and surrounds and is very helpful with suggestions for restaurants, vineyards etc. The location is fantastic, you can walk to almost anywhere in Bordeaux either along the river or wandering through the interesting streets nearby full of antique shops and specialty boutiques. As...

We arrived in Bordeaux in Sept 2009 but I never got around to writing a review. Better late than never! I 100% recommend this B&B to anyone travelling to Bordeaux. The hosts were very accommodating and made us feel right at home. We booked a tour recommended by Veronique with the Bordeaux tourist office. We took the Grand Cru tour...
