We stayed for just one night in the Citadel des Arts having booked for two. I found the room very dingy and old fashioned. It was cramped and you had to squeeze round the washbasin to get to the loo. OK so the surrounding area is picturesque, the inside definitely is not. The only concession made to its name "des...

Stayed at Hotel des Arts for one night stop-over in Strasbourg. Great value (80 USD) and location - right around the corner from Cathederal/easy walking distance to all of old town. Front desk staff (Belgian transplant named Karin?) was extremely helpful - went out of her way to help with directions/suggestions.

Stayed only one night, requested and received a triple room. Good size, ensuite shower, tv, phone. Excellent service from young Anna, who helped us with questions unrelated to our stay. Free internet service in the breakfast area for hotel guests. Located around the corner from the boat tour platform and the cathedral. Would highly recommend it!

This is a small hotel in a small square down a cobbled street from the Cathedral so the location is fantastic. The square has restaurants and cafes with others on the street to the Cathedral Square and a very nice place on the street directly opposite, so there is no shortage of places to eat and drink. The room was...

This room was small and the bathroom was VERY small with only a shower, but it was very nice. The location is GREAT! The room was clean and comfortable and the AC worked great. The staff was very friendly. This hotel is right in the middle of the cathedral square and is within walking distance to almost everything that most...

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in this small hotel in December 07. Location is fantastic - right in the middle of the old town with Christmas markets on your doorstep. We had a room with a view out to the square below so never felt like we were missing anything. Even better, with the windows shut we weren't...

Stopped off in Strasbourg again so decided to revisit this great little hotel. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are a decent size, fresh and clean. Bathroom was tiny but did the job. Location is just perfect. Within walking distance of everywhere. Overall a good place to stay if you want a reasonable priced room in a brilliant location.

Booked this hotel for two nights online for 70 Euros. Strasbourg is an inexpensive city relative to other European cities, and absolutely delightful. A visit to Strasbourg is highly recommended. It is vibrant, not expensive, steeped in history, lots to do, just great. The hotel is very decent. Great air conditioning for hot nights, located right on a quaint square...

Strasbourg was our seventh stopover on our Eurail journey and we came to the city here on suggestion of Swiss friends. When asked what the attractions were they replied: "the river tour, the cathedral and wery, wery good belly treats" (!) This was good enough for me so we caught the mid morning train from Bern and rolled into Strasbourg...

I have just returned from 2 nights at this Hotel and I loved it. The location was absolutely perfect. The Hotel is situated on the Place du Marché aux Cochons de Lait and is surrounded by cafes, restaurants and gift shops. It is just a short walk from the Cathedral and the boat tour leaves from just around the corner....

“If you drive in, you will have to find a parking garage. The ones on the side of the L'Ill (the river/ stream) where the hotel and cathedral are located are considerably more expensive than the ones on the other side. It may be worthwhile to park on the other side and its not even much of a walk to the hotel across the bridge”
