We had two night reservation, but left early due to: A/C not working, not a 4 star, musty, meldew smell. This is an old hotel that should be rated a 2 star. We will never stay in another Holiday Inn anywhere in the world, and we travel quite a bit.

We stayed for two nights and booked by telephone rather than by internet as we have three children and wanted one room rather than two (website specifies maximum of two children per room). No extra charge for baby cot. The family rooms are big enough but the windows open fully which is dangerous for young children and the furniture has...

Stayed here for 3 nights end April/early May 2011 with wife and two kids (aged 10 and 3). Arrived at the Hotel and parked in the huge hotel car park. This is a real life-saver in Strasbourg as there is little or no parking anyway within a mile or two of the city centre. Check-in was swift and efficient, and...

I have a lot of experience with hotels in france and this impressed me with the in-room cleanness. beds are very good with fully covered duvet /comforter, my biggest concern. It is a reasonable deal given that wanted only a stop-over so it would be good to avoid driving into the inner-city, also that the hotel is quite vintage (common...

I booked a secret 4* hotel which was described as having a city centre location. It turned out that we were in this Holiday Inn which is definitely not in the city centre. It's out of the town, a short walk from the European Parliament. Don't expect vibrant nightlife or shops around there as there is one scruffy-looking Irish pub,...

We found this hotel to be a good compromise. Rooms were big and the staff were friendly. However, the food wasn't very good. The dinner we had was very bland and the breakfast buffet didn't have many choices. The location is great! Very easy to get to and from the city center with the tram. Free wifi in the lobby.

This HI has been completely refurbished and everything is like new. They charge extra for in-room internet. Breakfast buffet is extra. Because it is outside of the old town, it is in a park-like setting. This was a nice change because we were nearing the end of our European trip and had plenty of old downtown hotels. The tram ride...

We were using this place as a stopover for a longer road trip so needed parking, low hassle, reasonable food etc. It won on all accounts except breakfast that was cold and minimal choice. It's also fairly expensive but that's probably the cost of convenience. Otherwise, a soulless business oriented hotel. Some quirks, eg no wifi in rooms, just wired...

This is a bit dated old Holiday Inn but it's been very well looked after. We checked in and fouind our room was right next to the staircase down to the swimming pool. As I had a young child I asked if we could be moved as I didn't want him distrubed by the constant traffic of people until the...

Decent sized car park. Nice 'open' feel to the location with plenty of space between the hotel and the closest buildings. We (my husband is also my colleague) had an executive room (rack rate 355 Euros - look for a deal, it's not worth that much) and were very pleased with it. Spacious, a lovely bathroom, spotlessly clean. The bed...
