Cons: Old and cramped room, furniture that lived, floor that deserves to be redone (detachments), cleanliness of the bed base and between questionable sheets, narrow bathroom and redone (traces of mold in various places), room poorly insulated and overlooking the road.
Pros: courteous staff and location (near train station and city center).
In the hope that the owners take into consideration the reviews left by the guests, it is a pity that for an Inn all the negative points noted are related to the room, which is the main interest of an Inn. This Pension deserves a great sweep, paint roll, space redevelopment, and insulation, to make guests feel good.

The room was extremely small for a booked double room, only 8.22sqm plus 1.9sqm bathroom, and not clean.
Breakfast buffet selection very low, does not meet the expectations when you are in the hotel. At night, there was a fire alarm, and many guests are out of the hotel, onto the sidewalk. Many also stood at the reception. Unfortunately no info from the hotel about the cause. Fire alarms were simply turned off, and guests were allowed back into the rooms without further information. No checking by the hotel staff of each room to determine the reason for the alarm. Even in the event of a false alarm, the hotel has a duty to inform your guests! Therefore security very questionable. Elevator continued to operate during the alarm.

Rather dirty bathroom and shower. Room so cramped that we can't even pass each other. Rather poor breakfast. At 66 Fr. per room during normal periods, it is acceptable but on the other hand during the Christmas market it is triple the price… Perfect geographical location and on the other hand very friendly staff

Very bad experience at the Primo hotel! Apart from the interesting location, nothing justifies the high prices which are applied, especially outside the Christmas holiday season. I strongly advise against the breakfast which is lousy, there are places to eat right next door which are much better and more plentiful! Reservation made online with a Wonderbox check via the hotel website because I could not reach them by phone (despite several attempts), but what a mistake because although this is not stipulated anywhere, it was not necessary to book directly on the site but first contact them first. However, I had clearly indicated all the information in the comments, including the gift voucher references when booking, but no one told me that this was not the right procedure before my arrival. Of course once there it could no longer be canceled, so I had to pay the difference between the value of the gift voucher (€60) and the price of the night in a double room with breakfast (€101.70) so that everything was normally understood and included in the offer! The staff assured me that they could do nothing, no gesture and that they could not contact the director immediately, so I asked that she call me back but it has now been 3 days and I am still waiting... Really not serious, what incompetence and what lack of professionalism! I will never again go to this hotel which also needs to be refreshed, not to mention the bad smells in the corridors and rooms... Avoid.

Searched for and found a short break in Colmar via Booking.com.
31€ per night and person, 9.50€ per breakfast is cheap in terms of price and performance. A daily parking fee of around 11€ in public parking spaces is also OK.
Super central location and friendly staff, cleanliness tolerable.
The rest is more like a camping holiday.
Pretty worn hotel. Even less equipment in a hotel room is not possible. There weren't even hooks on the wall anywhere.
If you know youth hostels in Germany you should be prepared for even less.
You have to consciously want it to be cheap to find it OK. Had a nice new experience. The city of Colmar is very interesting and worth a trip. If you value a minimum of luxury, you should look for another hotel.

If you are looking for a hotel that is value for money, close to the city centre and the Office of Tourism, 20 minutes walk to the train station, then you can not go past the Hotel Primo Colmar Centre. I stayed 3 nights, the staff were wonderful and I would stay again. Highly recommend !

The hotel is located in the centre of Colmar, with a parking lot across the street. The rooms are good in terms of hygiene and quality. The bathroom was clean and up to date, the toilet however was placed uncomfortable, as one leg is against the wall. Other than that everything was great.

True to what it says, a clean hotel, bit congested inside the rooms. Wish breakfast had more options, and staff to oversee the situation. There was no one to refill even bread as early as1 hour into breakfast time. On the other hand, the receptionist had a solution in hand very quickly for non functioning heating inside the room. So, both plus and minuses in terms of Service.
More or less convienently located considering the various attractions of Colmar, about 15 to 20 minutes walk from train station. Suggest to hire a taxi, if coming with luggage. Hotel offers free wifi (not secured), and can store one's luggage before and after check-in/check-out.

For the Award of the room I did not expect anything exceptional but I was disappointed. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom was deplorable (traces of mold and moisture, dirty and smelly towels). The room is very small, so much so that it is difficult to get around.
However, the location is ideal: 5 min walk from the old town and next to a large parking lot)

I stayed here 3 nights & found the hotel quiet & comfortable, yet only a 5 minute walk from the historic centre of Colmar. The continental breakfast was good, offering fruit, yoghurt, croissants, French cheeses, salami, juices & great coffee. Great value!

Ils acceptent les chèques vacances mais le seul conseil que je peux vous donner c'est de ne pas y séjourner ! Cf. l'avis que j'ai laissé.
Lo siento otra vez. Mi respuesta no está correcta. He hablado de otro sitio. Sin saber porqué he leído "Laon" y no "Colmar ".
