Detailed Reviews
My wife and I spent two nights at Hotel Turenne which is in a quiet, well located area, within easy walking distance (approx. 5 minutes) to Little Venice and the town centre with its many bars and restaurants.
Our room (which was accessible by elevator) was modern, clean, a satisfactory size, with a comfortable bed and offered all the necessary basic requirements.
A good buffet breakfast was provided which included cold meats, cheeses, cereals, yoghurts, pastries etc. There is also a bar in the hotel.
Onsite under cover parking was also available at a cost of 10 euros per day, with direct elevator access to all levels of the hotel, with an advance reservation required. It should be noted that if one has a large vehicle, exiting the car park may prove a little challenging, as the exit driveway is quite tight.
Staff were extremely pleasant and overall have no hesitation in recommending Hotel Turenne for a short stay.

Great hotel for a city visit.
Ideal location close to the 'Small Venice', right at the end of the old part of the city, everything easily accessible on foot (incl. railway station if you want to travel around). Comfortable rooms, recently refurbished, a bit on the small side but it is usual for France. Great breakfast with local products and diverse food (hot sausages, muesli, ham and cheese etc.), definitely worth the price.
Had to leave one day ahead of schedule due to Covid lockdown, unfortunately the only option was a voucher valid in this hotel only for one year.

A very nice hotel we stayed in for 4 days during covid. No service in rooms but nice terrace with bar service. Very convenient situation and walkable to all there is to see in Colmar. Fabulous walking around Colmar. Some great restaurants and lots of choice. Some excellent Boulangeries nearby where we purchased croissants 🥐 for breakfast- 11€ was more than we needed in hotel. Lovely little bar on Rue de la turenne where we had morning coffe and orange juice.

This is a clean, modern, and well run hotel a short walk to the historic center of Colmar. It earns a pretty high rating because it really offers good value for a very reasonable price. The front desk staff are friendly and try very hard to provide excellent service. They arranged a car and driver to take us to the nearby village of Kaysersberg for a quick visit (my wife's father served in the U.S. Army near Kaysersberg in WWII), and the driver was truly EXCELLENT. Bathroom and shower were very good (although it was provisioned with just a half roll of TP when we checked in - had to ask for more).
Just a couple of points I think worth mentioning. First, the air conditioning in the hotel is a bit quirky. I don't think I ever got it working completely right, even after a couple of tutorials with the front desk staff. While the room never got "hot", it never got cool either, and the system doesn't give much air flow or circulation. The system seems to be managed by computer controlled at the front desk, and the guest's ability to actually adjust the thermostat is very limited.
Second, be sure to double-check the hotel address before you book or travel. While the address here on Trip Advisor is correct (Rue de Bale), one can get some odd results searching on Google Maps. If you type just "Hotel Turenne Colmar" in Google Maps, it drops a pin in the heart of the old town which is NOT near the hotel. This caused us some consternation when we arrived in town, as we had to figure it out, then drag our suitcases across an extra kilometer of cobblestones after after what was already a very long travel day.
In short, for travelers on a budget, the Turenne is a real value.

We stayed here for an overnight stop on the way back from Italy to the UK. The location is really good, a few minutes walk from the old part of town. The hotel has secure parking in a garage for a small fee. The room was very nice, clean and spacious. The cot for our 18 month old was set up in the room for us when we arrived as requested. We booked a junior suite which had a little side area where the little one could sleep. This would also be ideal for a family of 4. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was was really good with plenty of choice but as others have said, there are bakeries nearby if you want something smaller.
Overall a very good stay and we will return on one of our future drives to Italy.

In Colmar for Christmas markets, Hotel Turrene offers a convenient location to the train station (~15 min walk) and to the markets (6min walk). Room was clean & comfortable, with ample space to move around. Good water pressure in the shower. Staff was pleasant and helpful in securing a taxi for the next morning. Note that there are very few taxis in Colmar. If you need a taxi, make sure to reserve it a day in advance. Breakfast was well stocked. In addition to your typical choice of breads, meat & cheese, scrambled eggs were available. Would recommend

Stayed in Sept. '19. The hotel is clean, updated, and comfortable. Rooms are small but it is France and Europe so not unexpected.
Parking is available under the hotel for 10 Euros per night. You can also sometimes free parking on the street as well.
Convenient location to Old Town entrance and Little Venice. Just a 5 minute down the road.

We found this hotel to be a perfect location to start our walking tour of the historic district of Colmar. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel was clean. We found the bathroom to be extremely small but adequate for our one-night stay. The parking garage was accessed via a street behind the hotel but there was access to walk to the hotel from the garage. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast at the hotel and found a very good selection of breakfast items from which to choose.

Stayed for a night ( Aug 2021) when we were passing through Colmar. the family room was perfect for our needs (4 adults and 1 baby). Rooms were clean, modern, and had the necessary. In-house parking was safe and affordable, and most importantly the staff were all very polite and helpful, and tried to accommodate our needs. Location was great, a 3min walk to petite venice and all the restaurants.
Highly recommend it, and we will gladly return here on our next trip to Colmar.

We stayed 2 nights in a large double room facing the road, room was very quiet with the window closed. Decent aircon. The location was great, a short walk to the Little Venice area. A secure underground carpark with direct access to the hotel was perfect. Good breakfast too. Friendly staff.

Patchogue, New York, United States8 contributions7 helpful votesIs there laundry services at the hotel? If not where is the nearest laundry facility?
Dear Karoline,
Thank you for your request.
We don't have laundry service in the hotel. You can find a dry cleaner in Colmar, grand rue.
Best regards
Anne
Hello JohnnyH64,
We actually have a closed garage (car, bike, motorcycle) and under video control with secure places for bicycles.
For your reservation, we advise you to book directly on our official website (turenne. com) as these are the best rates and conditions. On other websites it's always more expensive. We have only 1 room category with 2 beds, these are the "Twin double room standard".
I hope to have the opportunity to see you in our beautiful city of Colmar.
Cordially.
Olivier
Hello C_and_P_8,
We have a private garage (closed and under video control).
Do not forget to reserved before arrival, it is better.
Best regards.
