Stayed overnight at this hotrl when i was in the city to watch a football match. Did not spend too much time in the hotel but could figure out that it was pretty big and had lots of rooms spread all across. The room size was big and the same were clean and tidy. The staff was friendly and was...

Overnight stay after a concert in Manchester. Well lit and spacious corridors, small but clean rooms, fantastic breakfast in a lovely annex. Didn't experience dinner or have much of a look round the property. Perfect for an overnight stay but maybe too small for a longer stay. Enjoyed, thank you.

My second stay here. Very handy location to rest your head if you need to visit Manchester uni. Club sandwich and chips in the restaurant was delicious. Exceeded my expectations. Looking forward to coming back again once the renovations are complete. Staff are welcoming and helpful

It's having a 4 million upgrade in the next months but that's no excuse for the dirty rooms... Rooms have little space for child cot, pram storage. Not child friendly. We found nut shells on the floor which was not good for my 20 month year old toddler, general grubby standard of cleaning and when we left we found someone...

Stayed at the Chancellor whilst on a conference. No apologies from reception staff for building work and refurbishing of rooms taking place. So in the morning the noise of building work appeared to become the expected norm for 8.30am. My room was on the first floor. It was small,(compact) but compared to those on the ground floor it was luxury....

I came here for a friend's wedding in September and it's a cute little hotel situated in the student area of Fallowfield. It's about a half an hour walk from the local train station. I will admit I got a little lost trying to find it as I thought I'd wandered onto the student campus but the local security were...

Had one of the worst nights sleep at this hotel. The rooms are small and cramped, heating is by radiator which can be turned off but unfortunately the super heated pipes supplying it can't so room very hot. Was woken in early hours by rain making a hell of a noise in the boxing by the side of window. The...

Found this hotel online while trying to arrange a night out. Very reasonable rates. Single rooms were functional, clean and warm with good (powerful) showers. Location is at the far end of rusholme and surprisingly quiet - not too far from town. Staff were friendly, especially George, who let us in late at night, and very kindly opened the bar...

fantastic wedding last week-end. The gardens are wonderful, the food was good and the staff excellent. Yes, the venue needs refurbishing and this is happening before the end of the year but the plusses far outweigh the need for a refurbishment.
