"It does what it says on the tin" Like Ronseal it says Warehouse and it is a warehouse. Attended a Work Christmas Party and basically its a refurbished Warehouse. The venue is unique and has potential. Still the smell of fresh paint in the air. Saying the the staff were spot on and the grub was top notch. Give it... More

Good location for Man Utd and that s just it and there is limited parking if you get there early enough. Looks very different when you enter reception with this industrial look which is very fashionable at moment but totally empty bar and only passed 3 or 4 guests on our stay and it s a big building !!! I attended a conference here and have to say wasn't the most comfortable place I've been to. It was very dark and dinghy and the sound from room to room wasn't very good it sometimes felt like I was in two work shops and struggled to concentrate. Also the food was expensive and not enough of it, which was very... More

I stayed here because it was convenient to attend a conference at the same venue. However, I wish I had stayed in any one of several hotels within a ten minute walk away. The room was tiny, smaller than a student room. There was a light bulb missing, the bathroom smelled of damp, the seal on the shower door was... More

I spent 4 days in my room and called it "The Chockey" in honour of Ronald Dahl's classic. 2.8m x 3.4 m with no window and a shower tacked on. My God!!! The whole place smelled of wood lacker or cleaning products. Very strange place. Very industrial. Quite cheap, outside football nights. Would I return? NEVER

We enjoyed our stay very much and room was very clean, the breakfast was lovely and staff could not do more during busy period. I will come back again when in Manchester. Close to the town centre and shops and look forward to next visit.

Stayed over with friends whilst attending a concert. Not from the area so really appreciated the reception team giving me advice about where to go and what to do in Manchester beforehand. Rooms were old but clean. Would stay again due to value for money.

We went to see Catfish as a group of 5 of various ages. My hubby and myself (40's) our son and his friend (both 18) and my sons girlfriend (16) Firstly, as a gig venue we found it pretty good. Yes in the front it can get very squashed but I've been going to gigs for nearly 30 years and... More

The wedding venue and the presentation of the room was beautiful, but mainly in part to the brides input and attention to detail. The wedding breakfast was first class as was the service from all of the staff, but in particular Cherice, who was the bar person, the receptionist and the security guard, all with a beautiful smile on her... This is a budget hotel, so don't expect luxury. Cool, different interiors, in the common area, very ok bar. The big misses: no windows in the room, both way since the hotel is built in a warehouse, and practically no breakfast. Since it is paid apart, I would make it a bit more expensive yet consistent. The second day we... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
All our bedrooms are chic, and functional, and include a flat screen TV, hairdryer, Wi-Fi, and an en-suite shower room. Please note that our Bedrooms do not have windows. All guests can enjoy a continental breakfast in our rustic Bistro. The bespoke experience we offer is entirely unlike any comparable hotel in Manchester City Centre. We know our hotel is different, and not to everyone's liking but Victoria Warehouse Hotel isn't made up of identically-designed rooms. It's unique, interesting, and in keeping with our ethos of creativity and independence. Our rooms don't have windows due to the architecture of our iconic warehouse building. Although we realise that it can be terribly disappointing not to get a stunning view of a brick wall, car park or heating duct, as is the case in many city hotels. We hope that all our guests embrace our unique and unusual hotel, and enjoy the experience that is Victoria Warehouse Hotel. ... more   less
