Lovely 5 star hotel in a great location next to many shops, restaurants and bars. Excellent greeting and service throughout our stay. Rooms are modern and comfortable. We’ll definitely be returning in the near future.
very good facilities- but paid more than someone who booked a week before ones stay. Also the price initially offered did not include breakfast so further expense for addition of this. However it was a very good hotel otherwise
lack of communication and willing ness to resolve a basic issues ruined our experience, no one told us about refurbishment works before we booked and when we checked in, who plans refurbishments on a peak Saturday afternoon!
We stayed at the Radisson on Saturday night. We arrived at the hotel to drop our bags off at 12. Despite check in being 3pm we were allowed to check straight into our room which was great. The room was lovely and very well thought out. We visited the spa which was very nice and spotlessly clean. The bed was really comfy and the views amazing! Breakfast in the morning was fantastic, excellent quality and great choice. Great service and friendly staff. We will definitely stay again!…
Visited the hotel whilst staying on business with my husband. We had “treated ourselves” as it was a special occasion. Beautiful downstairs and reception area. Friendly staff. Checked in smoothly and went up to our room. Room was nice but also fairly underwhelming. Incredibly soulless. The walls were very thin - they seemed to be doing some work on the room next door as there was constant banging, drilling noises on both the day of check in and also first thing on a Saturday morning (thanks for that). Could also hear someone’s alarm first thing. Pillows were oddly thin and lacklustre. One member of staff was particularly friendly and chatty for a few minutes, then gave me a card with their name and telling me to rate on trip advisor. Never a nice feeling to think peoples friendliness is simply to improve online ratings!!!! So yes, beautiful downstairs, restaurant etc looked fab but didn’t eat there. Nobody told us about breakfast. Overall, nice hotel in principle. Still work to do in my opinion, so wouldn’t be rushing back any time soon. …
