On one hand, toilets were dirty, wet and no toilet paper. The hostel is really old and needs a maintenance. Really noisy and cold. On the other hand, the hostel is in a really good location, near to picadilly station and staff are really sympathetic.

One of the best hostel in Manchester, if i ever visit Manc again sometimes in the future, i'd definitely choose to stay here. Close to city centre, great breakfast, helpful crew, comfy bed. I'd recommend this place to my folks.

We only stayed here for one night, thank god. We arrived and the staff were nice enough, however when we arrived to our room we were greeted with a smell that was very foul in our room. It smelled like someone ran a marathon and then died. The pillow was the flattest pillow I've ever seen. They might as well...

Location is fantastic! Just about 10-minute walk away from Manchester Piccadilly and about hundreds of 5-minute walks away from cool bars, tonnes of shopping/eating lots. Staff were super friendly, pretty accurate with directions, and most definitely trustworthy (they kept my couriered concert ticket safely as I travelled from Asia, through Europe and into Manchester for a particular concert). I opted...

We went there for a weekend. We rent a full bedroom (6 beds) for 5 to be quiet and relax but the bedroom was dirty, cold and our neighbors were totally unrespectful. Impossible to sleep until 6am, no soap, no toilet paper, hard to be satisfied when you pay 250£ for one night. Hostel life they said..

Room very dirty, drawers broken and we couldn´t find the TV remote control. Beds comfortable and good staff. A good point was that they keep your luggage until six pm (the day that you do the check out) Poor breakfast. We expected to much variety for the prize that we paid.

Worst hostel I have stayed in. Very noisy and they don't seem to care about disrespectful people. So dirty, I don't think they clean bathroom and toilets. The bed covers and pillows are yellow and the bed was smelling like pee. Terrible value for money!

AVOID: This place is horrible. The building reeks throughout. It is completely filthy, the toilets don't look like they're every cleaned and they leak meaning the floors are soaking wet. The showers are equally revolting. You would find cleaner, more comfortable beds on the street. The mattresses are like barbed wire. The pillows and duvets are brown with mould. I...

This hostel has a convenient location (near Manchester Piccadily train Station and central area of Manchester) with a suitable price for every short-time travelers to Manchester. The staff is really friendly and helpful. However, the facility is not outstanding (of course, it is a cheap option!). The showers were a little bit disappointed because I could not control the temperature;...
