I stayed here over a period of six weeks whilst working at the hospital. The imperial is a decent hotel, it's nothing fancy and it's far from the ritz but, if you are just looking for somewhere to lay your head, and you're not to fussy then the imperial, should be fine. The staff are friendly and helpful ( however...

This is by far this most horrible hotel I have ever stayed in. Unbelievable is the word I kept saying to my partner as soon as we checked in. The place is incredibly noisy and looks like it is about to fall down! The ceilings are rotting in the hallways and the bathroom in our room smelt like dead animals....

The hotel was horrendous; there was no lifts or bell boys to carry heavy luggages for customers. The reception was locked; a staff member had to come unlock it before access to the reception was granted. The staff's attitude was uncaring, unconcerned with me. The rooms were a catastrophe; the sheets were filthy and unwashed, the interiors of the room...

I read the reviews here after being booked in and arrived with some trepidation. I was greatly relieved. The hotel has just been refurbished and is under new management. My room is clean and newly carpeted and decorated. the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. It is a basic hotel, but it is kept clean and the breakfast was...

I was worried after reading some bad reviews about this hotel, however after being advised it had recently changed hands my partner and I thought we'd give it a go! The accommodation was basic. The service however was good and what prompted me to write a review. The gentlemen on reception on the morning was particularly helpful, chatty and smiley....

My friend and I booked The Imperial hotel as bit of a last minute as we got tickets for a Man Utd game. When we first arrived there was 2 women at the reception. They barely said a word and struggled to crack a smile between them. We headed to the room up stairs where the carpet was a hurrendous...

Same as the recent reviews, dirty, shower was mouldy and the shower curtain was stuck together probably from lack of use. I'd guess it's used for DSS. There was no remote for the tiny TV and I made the mistake of moving it forward to press the control buttons on top - clearly the only time it had been moved...
