I paid just over 40 pounds for my room on a Friday night. It was for an overnight stay to visit friends in the area. For the price I was expecting worse. Reception was welcoming. I was allocated a room on the third floor at the motorway side of the hotel, There was a lot of traffic noise here, which...

Well for the price you can not grumble. Just needed a place to stay. Hotel itself is very old fashioned. In drastic need of updating. Modernisation is a must for this place. Window were closed but sounded like they were still open. Again old fashioned double glazing. Having said that the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean,...

I wanted a clean cheap room for a night before a flight. This is exactly what I got. "Wifi cannot be guaranteed in the rooms", what they really should say is most rooms are so far away from the wifi source they are out of range. There is NO FREE WIFI in rooms. Apart from that everything else was as...

Stayed here for one night on a National Holidays coach tour. Hotel room was on 4th floor. Very quiet even when facing busy main road. Towels and toiletries were excellent. Evening meal was terrible. Very little choice as it was a coach party booking but everything was cold. Bar prices are excellent and staff very friendly. Breakfast was excellent, big...

We went and stayed here feeling very apprehensive after reading previous reviews on here. All I will say it don't take on board the negative comments. We arrived late afternoon on a Saturday parked no problem found the hotel easy enough. Went to reception two people checking guests in because of the queue 2 more people came and helped so...

Stayed here night before we flew. Good points: Relatively cheap. Close to airport. Free onsite parking. Has bar and restaurant. Rooms were nice enough and clean. Points that some consider not so good: Hotel is a little bit tired. As its a cheap hotel there were a lot of work men staying there, who are working away from home. I...

This would have gotten a 2 or even 1, but it is very close to the airport and has free parking, so for 1 night was ok. But I was not happy with it being advertised as having free WiFi, and yes, although technically they do, but they "cannot guarantee" this in the rooms. They state this at reception and...
