I stayed at the hotel whilst looking for properties to rent in Manchester. The staff were amazing, I have Coeliac disease so I cannot eat Gluten, and I e-mailed the hotel ahead to check they could offer me something from breakfast, they advised they had several options inc Gluten Free bread, and they used a seperate toaster! The breakfast was fantastic, just what I needed on day one to fill me up. The location is perfect being close to Shudehill Interchange (Bus/Tram) which has a free bus serve it, plus other buses into Piccadilly Gardens. If I had anything "negative" to say it was only that my room was a bit too warm, but that's down to the design of the building. Overall I would absolutley recommend this hotel!

Beautiful, clean and friendly hotel. I stayed in a double room with breakfast for £38. The room was pretty basic but far better than most other hotels in the same price bracket - clean, large shower, comfy bed, fully working TV etc. Breakfast was great as well. The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful. Coronavirus: I stayed for work during the lockdown in January 2021. The hotel was extremely clean and very well organised to take account of social distancing. Clear signage everywhere, plenty of hand gel stations, and staff that were following the rules... it felt very safe... will certainly book again whenever visiting Manchester...

I had booked two room for 4th 5th December. We arrived at Manchester from Kent the night of the 4th December at 11pm with my partner, 17months old toddler and nephew.. Two rooms was booked and information as to my travel was asked via email in which I responded. No-one tried to call me after that to request more information. I arrived to the hotel with is a 20min walk and located in an awkward space. On arrival we meet with Eva Lina and was not greeted with a hello, she went straight into asking why we are here and while explaining that my little one is a model and its for work she told me it wasn't a valid reason. She then called her colleague Kalima, who also appeared with no greeting and was no help! Kalima was not looking to give us the benefit of doubt, the time was now midnight with a sleeping toddler in the buggy and an upset 11year old with pouring rain. They refused our stay and we was practically stranded in Manchester. I appreciate the fact that coronavirus is very prominent but an exception could have been made due to having two young children (i.e temperature check). The service was rude and not understanding.. They chose to tell me that my work reason was not valid and was happy to refuse our stay. Two room was booked out of respected for the 11year old and I was very disappointed in how we was treated as a family and felt discriminated against due to our sexuality. I would not recommend this hotel and for all the reasons above! Such a disgraceful service.

This Holiday Inn is clean but perfect if you’re staying over in Manchester for 1-2 nights. The room itself is basic but I stayed for one night and it’s in an ideal location - a couple of minutes walk from the Arndale, if that really. It’s very covid safe and I thought the fact that breakfast was served still and to a good standard is a very positive thing. Of course, in September when I went, it was takeaway breakfast - sausage sandwiches etc (not the full monty due to covid!) but it was good still and you got to make your choices the night before and you could have a variety of things! I’m not sure if this is still the case due to lockdown again and things but I’m actually revisiting in a couple of weeks for work and staying in this hotel again. Staff were very friendly upon check in and check out and helpful when asking any questions. 100% recommend if you’re looking for a nice hotel (not luxury) with a central location. Exactly as they describe!

What a beautiful, clean and friendly hotel. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and worked around the clock cleaning everywhere. Felt very Covid safe! Really great breakfast choices and cooked breakfast tasted lovely! Was offered a later check out for free By the Manager Simon as mum had an eye operation and we were going to a check up appointment at the clinic - we didn’t need it but very thoughtful and kind. Would definitely stay here again!
