Arrived early afternoon, givwn room at far end of hotel. Someone had been smoking in the bathroom and we had to advise them. This should have been picked up by housekeeping. Room changed immediately. "2nd room fine. Staff very welcoming and enthusiastic. Hotel refurb has improved rooms consdiderably. Lift system requires card swipe on ground floor for security reasons but...

Thank you very much for your review. I'm pleased that you enjoyed your experience overall and that you were impressed by our newly refurbished rooms. I'm sorry to hear there was an issue with the first room you were given but I'm glad we were able to offer you a different accommodation very quickly. As you mentioned, housekeeping should have...

Stayed here for two nights on business - my preferred hotel had hiked its rates beyond the budget! Close to NCP Sackville Street car park and a short walk from Deansgate. The reception area, bar and dining area are stark, Spartan and brightly lit - not the place for a lengthy evening meal. The menu is very very limited and...

We've just spent a night at the Ibis after attending a show at the arena. It's location is perfect for shopping, nothing is more than a 10 minute walk away. Plenty of eateries near by open late. The reception reminds me of an apple shop - very informal but that doesn't take away from the fact it's a lovely lobby....

Food rubbish Staff non attentive Bathroom requires attention In fact so many little niggles too many to list. They need to pull their finger out & turn it into an enjoyable place to stay - which is not at the moment. They try - but they are not succeeding!!!!!

Stayed here for 2 nights on business and was impressed by the hotel and facilities available. Very reasonably priced and located 5 minute walk from Manchester Oxford Road station. Rooms are pretty small and are pod style setup but have everything you require when staying on business. Tram stop also around the corner and plenty of restaurants and bars around...

Many thanks for posting those positive comments. I'm thrilled that you enjoyed your stay and that you were impressed by our modern facilities. I'm also very happy to hear that our city centre location was convenient for your visit. The room was aesthetically beautiful, well decorated, although not so comfortable. The bathroom was very small but included a shower with color-changing illumination. The internet was fast and available but breakfast was dreadful with not even one choice of fruit to be seen.

Clean and modern rooms. Ideal location for palace theatre trip. Nice little bar and eating area in the hotel itself. Plenty of bars and restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance. Would definitely recommend 👍

My husband and I stayed here for a few days over the Christmas period. We did't expect much because me hadn't paid a lot considering the hotel is in the city centre, but we were pleasantly surprised. Well the only negative would be the shower, I saw piabs lurking. However the bed was comfortable, the Wi-Fi worked well and the place looked nice enough. It was very convenient for Canal Street and breakfast at McDonald's if you don't want to pay £8.99 or whatever it was. The set up looked quite odd as I left and was...
