We arrived to the mitre hotel at 00:30. Claire on reception welcome us with a huge smile. We asked her for some place to order food . She ordered for us some pizzas. Central location with an amazing historical building views. The room was clean and comfortable . Thank you we will come back.

We just wanted an overnight stay in a location near Victoria Station and the Arena and saw this place listed on the web. The location is just about perfect, approx. 500 yards from station entrance. The rooms are a bit dated but were clean with good sized bathrooms, large TV and clean towels/toiletries. All the rooms are up a set...

Style from 60’s and much of the decor seems not to have been renewed since then. Worn out, shabby and musty room. The description hotel stretches poetic license beyond credulity. I slept on top of the duvet to cushion the mattress springs.

Set your expectations at a shabby Motel and you'll be fine. Set them to 'hotel' and you'll be badly disappointed. This is a very tired building in a great location. There isnt a right-angle in the whole place, which is fine unless unsteady on your feet. Room a bit musty, sash window wouldnt stay open, bathroom very tired and mouldy...

This is a terrible hotel, even for the price. Our shower did not work. The decor is dated. If you have any other options don't stay here. The iron burnt a hole in a dress that I iron every week and the manager told me that he is not responsible for the irons. I always take reviews with a pinch...

Hotel is quaint , quirky and great fun, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble for them. Although the hotel was very reasonably priced supplies of towels, toiletries and tea making facilities...

My husband and I booked this hotel for an overnight birthday treat in Manchester. After being in the bar previously and seen the photos both on-line and in the hotel bar we decided to choose the Mitre. Good Points: :-) Great central location right in the centre of the busy bar and shopping areas. Staff lovely and friendly. Plently of...

Although the first night of two booked found us in a very poor room, we were moved next day to a lovely one and given a refund. Thank you - good management. Couldn't fault lovely linen, shampoo, towels etc. A central spot with shops, entertainment locations, the Cathedral (which is FASCINATING - SEE THE red flame window - wWow!), eating...
