Disgusting place with really bad beds, the bathroom was nasty and uncomfortable. If you want to keep your suitcase at the hostel more time you have to pay for that. Some of the staffs were really unfriendly. I'll never come back!!!!

Out of all the times I have been to Manchester this is absolutely the worst place I have stayed. Room was basic to say the least, 2 bunk beds, only coat pegs to hang clothes, no table, mattresses that had springs that dug into you no matter where you lay & made a noise every time you moved. Room next...

I stayed here with my girlfriend. We booked the ensuite double room. When we got there the man at the front desk was shouting in his phone very loudly. When we got to the room (it's nothing like it looks in the picture). It was very basic and Cold. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was freezing(because the window was broken...

Booked the hostel for just a cheap nights stay in Manchester so didn't expect much. However, the room was freezing and so was the bathroom. We were then woken up at half 8 by loud banging and drilling on the other side of the wall, without being warned. Very irritating and unnecessary, would not stay again.

The building is very old, the rooms fall down to pieces. The staff is rude, if something breaks you they neither arrange it to you nor listen to you. Pay 500 pounds for the treatment they offer is a scam. I would not recommend to my worst enemy. Definitely the worst place I've ever been.

The hostel was dull, kind of far away from the thick of things. There were workmen in the bathroom/shower area the entire time and worst of all after leaving an item of clothing I received no email reply when asking if they had found the item. Not replying to customers in 2016? Seriously? Might as well close down. Terrible.

My first impression of the guesthouse was the pungent smell of the place (the room smelt fine though, so it wasn't an issue)! The reception staff were lovely and friendly, definitely the highlight of the place. Stayed in the private double room which had all the necessities and nothing more: clean sheets, radiator, bedside tables and lamps. Had to knock...

My girlfriend went there the other day, to meet with her friend from Spain which arrived to Manchester at 00:00. I ve rang the hostel a day before to inform them they will arrive after 11pm (which costs 20pounds btw) the woman i spoke to asked for the time which i couldnt exacly specify as it depended on the flight...

We came here with a very large group as it was by far the best location and value in town. We found Jenetta and the rest of the team very helpful and welcoming over the 3 night stay. The toilet and shower facilities are quite basic but the bedrooms, especially the 28 bed dorm are very well furnished with comfy...

The only good thing about this place was the clean bed linen. Everything else was so far below the standards of the YHA as to be laughable. The kitchen was a pathetic disgrace, the lounge was barely bigger than a broom cupboard, the lockers had no keys so were unusable. I've stayed in much better hostels, this one was dreadful.

Thank James M
