New Hampton in Northern Quarter close to Victoria Station. Staff make the difference at Hampton's as regular travellers know. This Hampton did not disappoint. Special thanks to Carlo for going the extra mile and making us feel welcome after a long days travel. You can walk from Victoria railway station in around 12 minutes and there are direct trains from Manchester Airport. We used it as an inexpensive stop over and it worked well. All covid requirements met and we received a nice breakfast box with all the essentials plus hot coffee. Will return.

Brand new hotel. Clean and spacious room. Nice spotless bathroom. Really dodgy bad area and awful reception staff. Never arrived in a hotel feeling so TV have not been set up properly, don’t allow screen sharing. Air conditioning kept coming up with error, doesn’t work properly. Said needs resetting, tried ten times and gave up.

This new hotel is very good on the surface and I am sure that for most guests it will provide a high standard of accommodation and hospitality. Despite the majority of staff providing excellent service I was still confronted with several issues during my stay however, these were never addressed and only when I came to depart were these concerns listened to and the matter dealt with in a satisfactory manner. The location on the edge of the city centre is convenient for most of the cities amenities and transport links. The rooms are very good, contemporary and well presented; the bed and linen would normally make for a comfortable place to sleep, the large television and Wi-Fi are excellent, the bathroom more than adequate. The air conditioning was one issue that I endured and you could not open a window. Covid measures were good and dictated a much-reduced breakfast service; this meal has to be pre-ordered, collected and then eaten in the room; the ingredients were ok yet there was no hot food save a warm crispy croissant or two. Would have been nice to get a bacon/sausage sandwich akin to other Hampton by Hilton I have stayed in recently. Despite my disappointments, I would not discourage anyone from staying at this hotel because I am confident in the customer service that you will receive.

I stayed in this hotel in March 2021 due to a medical consultation. I dealt with Caroline who I cannot praise enough! She was so helpful ensuring my arrival was smooth and helped calm my nerves around staying. 10/10 for customer service and i couldn't rate the service i have experienced enough even before attending my stay!
