When we arrived, it was clear that the receptionist, who was working his last shift, was having a bad day. There was confusion over our booking as the address had been mixed up somehow and didn't match the address it was booked under. The receptionist was rude and made comments under his breath and swore a few times. He chilled...

This hotel is located at Piccadilly Gardens, near all the sights of Manchester City. Good clean rooms with shower pressure that will "take a layer of skin" off. My twin room was comfortable. The single bed was good. You get a bit of construction noise early in the morning. The breakfast was very nice and included in the £88 I...

We booked to stay at Gardens last minute for the two nights of Parklife festival. Our stay was actually pretty comfortable given that this is a very basic, budget hotel in an old building. We stayed in one of the central rooms, which don't have windows, but a desk fan was provided which kept the room cool and prevented any...

We booked this hotel mainly due to the location. It is just a 3 minute walk from the station and so central to the centre that it is impossible to find fault with this. When we entered the lobby, we were welcomed warmly by Alex and Linda who were a little surprised by how much we had paid for our...

If you are looking for a cheap hotel with no frills in a central Manchester location then this is it. The best thing is the location and the price in this location. The hotel itself OK for a night or two'a sleep if you don't expect too much. Generally clean although there was a bad sewerage smell every time I...

I stayed here with my son for one night as we had booked to see Billy Ocean in Warrington. We wanted a reasonably priced hotel near Manchester Piccadilly Station and this ticked the box. It was "cheap and cheerful" which was what we wanted. We booked a twin room with two single beds and that is exactly what we got....

We stayed here when we spent a weekend in Manchester. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful when we had questions. We got an upgrade on our room , so the room itself was more than we expected. Unless you are used to luxury hotels the cleanliness and room interior is more than OK. The location is superb, right in...

First impressions of this hotel were that it was a grotty and unfriendly hotel. I had a two night stay in Manchester and this Hotel has an amazing location and courteous staff. The internet was a little problematic as the rooms had poor connectivity and the access to different websites is also restricted. But overall it was comfortable with courteous staff and clean rooms.

Have stayed at the this hotel on two occasions. The hotel is situated in a perfect city centre location for shopping and nights out. Friendly, helpful & accommodating staff. Clean rooms.
