Arrived here 7pm on 30/4/17. Booked through booking.com. Booked a simple room. Only to find that it had no window and it was a smoking room (which did not say at time of booking). There was no light in the room. It was dark and absolutely stuck (im a none smoker by the way). The room was boiling, there was...

Stayed on the 29th April, last minute booking and called the Britannia reservations to be told rooms were £270 a night when I just saw on booking.com a room was £99, they matched that price after me mentioning the huge difference. It was the cheapest by far for that evening and there's a reason for that. Check in staff were...

Very tired rooms, tiny baths awful room service breakfast. Broken tiny TV in 4 poster room really ready for an overhaul. Looking cation is good but everything else is tired and badly thought out ... disappointed especially for comparably priced hotels.

I wouldn't even rate this hotel a 1 star. Booked two rooms for £250, there are cracks in the ceiling, blood on the carpets, the smell is atrocious and the room is like a sauna with no cool air. We asked for double rooms and got single beds. The walls are leaking. If I would of payed £50 for the...

I'm really torn on this hotel. It's really nice with a modern feel and is slap bang in the very heart of Manchester city centre. The metro link stop serving Greater Manchester is a 40 second walk out of the front door and the hotel is half way between Piccadilly and Victoria train stations, both a leisurely 10-15 minute walk...

I Highly doubt i will ever be back in this hotel again. The room itself was large which was fine. The lamps were dusty, The bathroom was in a poor state. You could see the glue used to hold the mirror to the wall, The ceiling panels were coming away from the wall so there was gaps in the ceiling....

I wished we'd looked at the reviews before booking here. Knew it would be basic but this was something else. The hotel is in dire need of renovation! So old and outdated! Although fairly clean our room was very tatty. The tiles were not fitted properly on the bathroom ceiling and the bath panel was pushed in, revealing a dirty...

Extremely disappointed with hotel reception service. Charged double from Booking.com price which was prebooked in January. No refund, although got room upgrade - eventually and free breakfast which wasn't worth anything, stewed tea, crunchy black pudding, anaemic sausages, etc. Discounted car park is 10 mins walk away, not the NCP next door 😡😡 Corridors and rooms reek of smoke Free...

We asked for a non smoking room, (we didn't realise that smoking was permitted in hotel rooms any longer). On arrival to the room it had quite clearly been a smoking room previously it smelt strongly of smoke and was very hot! We asked for a room swap which was not an issue for the on duty receptionist. Our next...
