Don't know where some of the people with their poor comments stayed but there must be another somewhere with the same name. For what we paid am well satisfied. Staff polite and friendly Room very comfortable. Food as good as can be expected as it was carvery type and had a long dining time. You want better you pay more.

The bathroom is clean, the sheets are perfectly white, but the carpet was filthy!!! The were so many horrible stains on it and on the chairs. There was what I hope was ketchup and mustard that was very poorly cleaned. I refused to take my shoes off. I got into the room quite late and called up reception to get...

Stayed here last night (Monday 03.04.17) and loved it. Check in was smooth and the lovely receptionist was very helpful and friendly. My room was perfect, the temperature was just right. Everything was there, towels, hairdryer, tea and coffee, a tray stand, lovely large wardrobe with double mirrors, boxes of tissues, lots of room to move around. The shower was...

I had a one night stay on a coach trip. I couldn't fault the room apart from the very basic tea & coffee. Throughout the hotel there were no decaffinated drinks or sparkling water, to me something pretty standard nowadays. The breakfast today was just about passable though the coffee out of the machine in the restaurant was pretty awful....

A very disappointing stay. Upon arrival the receptionist didn’t smile, wasn’t welcoming and was just robotic. As you walk to the bedrooms on stained, worn carpets you wonder where you are heading. The room overlooked a rubbish collection and dumping ground. The level of dust in the bedroom was beyond acceptable. I’ve added a picture to my review. The bed...

I had the misfortune to stay at this place twice in 8 days. The best thing about this hotel is that I will never have to come here again. We stayed the night before we flew out of the UK. The whole hotel and especially our room was shabby and stained and generally unpleasant. Reception staff were generally disinterested and...

Upon arrival I was very impressed with the grand looking hotel the vast reception and on first glance lovely rooms which is all good till you look a little closer and see crumbs on the tv table from previous people's visit foot prints on the ceiling and to my disgust silverfish in the bathroom The hotel is in need of...

We arranged 4 rooms for a family get together based on good reviews and photos on Booking.com. When we arrived the car park was flooded, so it was difficult to park (bear this in mind if leaving car there when going to Manchester airport). Once inside we noticed a line of slot machines near the bar area and it was...

I'm here on a business trip, and whilst the hotel is functional, it needs some attention. The room itself is nice enough, but thin walls and door mean that I can hear every time someone passes in the corridor and I can hear the conversation in the room next door as I type this. The main part of the hotel...
