We chose Easyhotel because we've used them before in other cities and they been okay for a one night stay. Unfortunately, the Manchester one is the worst we've encountered. Dirty and broken shower cubicle, no soap for washing your hands after using the toilet (is that a legal requirement in the UK?) and I dont even want to know what was smeared on the mirror. Yuk! How did the cleaner miss that that??…
Booked here after travelling back from Gran Canaries as we were too late for the last train home. After asking various people for directions had to phone the hotel twice. The guy on reception was pleasant, wow what a shock when we got to the room. There was no where to place anything it was basically a room with 2 fixed coat hangers on the wall and 2 beds which i had to shuffle past one of these to get to the other. The shower and toilet area was clean but not private. No tea or coffee making facilities so we had to go out at 10pm to find somewhere which was quite daunting in a strange city. I certainly wouldnt stay again…
Fair price considering the good location but for £80 I'd expect a small bar of soap at least, as I am sure the London and Liverpool EasyHotels include this in the rooms. Apart from that, as a place to get your head down after a night out, the hotel does the job (maybe take earplugs as traffic can be a bit loud). Mohammed on the front desk has excellent customer service, very enthusiastic and welcoming. I have stayed with EasyHotel multiple times in the past and will continue to do so when needed for a basic place to stay.…
Well located near Piccadilly station and the city centre and of course the metro. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are small and basic but have everything you need if you just want somewhere comfortable to get your head down. TV and WiFi have a supplementary charge.
if josef fritzl lived up north this is where he would keep his victims, ushered to the lift you are sent to the basement to be met with a corridor of fluorescent orange doors inside there is a bed and a bathroom ,thats it,theres half a window leading out to the street that doesnt open and you can see a selection of people walking by,there is absolutely nowhere to put anything atall not even room for my watch and glasses , there is nowehere to get a drink i was told there was a coffee machine but i couldnt locate it,there are no facilities in your room to make one either. you have to pay extra to use the tv,extra for the wifi ,and extra if you want to lie in beyond 10am ,and use of the lavatory is a fiver -lol i lied about the last one,and yes i know its budget hotel but it still cost me £50 for the night and i think you should be at least allowed to watch the chase for nothing heres the worst bit -you can literally hear every word the neighbours say i managed to drop off to sleep at 4am and was then woken up by a group of girls banging loudly on each others doors and screaming,i paid extra and booked another earlier train ticket home -never again -avoid like the plague…
