Recommended by a colleague this is a budget priced hotel who want good value for money and don't want to pay top price for hotel facilities they aren't going to use! I had a single en-suite room on the second floor. There are no lifts. Shower and comfortable bed. Tea/Coffee making facilities, TV and free wi-fi. Free parking. Short bus...

Just a one night stop here whilst visiting family. It's a conference centre, and so the rooms are much more like what you remember from your college room than a budget hotel. Mine was a reasonable size, had a washstand in the room and then a small bathroom with toilet and shower. All the decorations were 'college' type - black...

My partner and I had a late check in to Luther King House, a B&B chosen for our mutual respect for the former civil rights leader and because it was cheap. The chap on reception was very accommodating and friendly and directed us to our room - 401. I had a quick look around the room for essentials - tea,...

My wife and I stayed here overnight prior to going on to Leeds. We drove to the hotel after flying into Manchester airport and hiring a car. Check in was quick and easy and we were given a room on the second floor. There were no lifts so bear this in mind when booking. Our room had heating, tea/coffee facilities,...

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a night for a weekend stay. Room Décor was a bit dated but everything else was great. Lovely continental breakfast and friendly reception staff... reasonable price and not too far from City centre. Overall a great little find! Will be staying again in the future!!!

Booked here as we were going to a concert and everywhere else was £100+. Paid around £65 for a double room with breakfast. Strange set up -- room was dated and a bit run down, breakfast was self-service and quite limited. But it was £65 for an OK nights sleep and an OK breakfast. Can't complain.

We stayed here for 1 night after seeing Strictly. We arrived too early to get into our room so we took a bus into Manchester itself which was great there were loads to bus's we could use. The room was adequate, very clean and the breakfast was plentiful. I would stay with them again. Staff very helpful and friendly

We stayed at the accommodation as we went to a concert. The staff were very helpful and friendly but the room could have been a lot better. There was a hole in one wall and cobwebs on the ceiling. The shower had mould and smelt damp. The downstairs was in a lot better state. Breakfast was self service but there...

The room was exactly as described and we slept very well. Breakfast was great, really enjoyed it. I can only say that I would never eat supper here...we had the 6oz STEAK burger....it was a rubbery box patty....no steak
