On arrival I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who gave me directions to my ground floor room round the back - firstly felt a little uneasy as it was dark and I was a female staying on my own. The room was poorly lit, cold, dirty and the bedding felt damp. On further inspection the bathroom ceiling over the...

A very basic hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Bright and airy bar area. Rooms could be a lot better with some TLC. Echoing other reviews, the rooms need attention. Although I had a very comfortable and clean bed, the room had a musty smell, the carpet behind the door and round the edges could use a good hard sweep...

The first thing I've realised, there was a massive mouldy patch on the bathroom ceiling, the tiles were coming off, the heating kept on turning on and off. Due to this weather I couldn't sleep what's so ever as the blanket is not warm itself. The kettle didn't work so that sucks because I couldn't even make myself a cup...

I stayed in this hotel in August last year and was very pleasantly surprised I wrote an excellent review as I fealt the staff and accommodation deserved it. However we stayed one night on the 2nd January this week and it was atrocious. We booked in ok and went to our room. I was very disappointed. There was black mold...

Bathroom full of damp, tiles falling off the wall. Room was cold, needs a serious refurbishment. Beds were uncomfortable as I could feel the springs through the mattress. Pay the extra couple of £ and stay at a travelodge.

This hotel has been around for years and it shows. Really need a face lift, especially as we had just stayed at an excellent Ibis in Shipley. The room was adequate. The room was not made up on our second day, although someone must have been in because a towel was taken away that wasn't replaced. There were tea/coffee facilities...

This was booked last minute out of desperation.Lights didnt work, key didnt work, no sleep due to party going on in another room, no one on duty to report it too. Room old fashioned, mould in bathroom, cracked sink and chipped bath, staff uninterested.

For a short over night stop it was convenient and relatively inexpensive. Anything longer and I would recommend looking for an alternative. Rather than a hotel this is more of a US style motel, though with small rooms and single beds. The room was a tired looking to say the least, and would need redecorating and a deep clean to...

I booked this hotel very last minute because I was at a Christmas party at The Dome next door and decided I didn't want to drive home. The rooms need quite a bit of upgrading, they're dated and the bathroom had mouldy damp on the ceiling. My room's main light didn't work. The positives are that it's convenient for The...

This was booked as somewhere to stay after a night out at a location away from home to then drive home the next morning. As such the state was expected and didn't bother us. Upon arrival it was clear there was an issue. We booked through LateRoom and the booking had not moved over to their systems. Luckily there was...
