Manager and staff where outstanding, very helpful in all that we needed, couldn't do enough for us. We also stayed over in there establishment, which was very enjoyable, room was extremely clean and very inviting. We woke in the morning to an outstanding breakfast cooked by the manager, he was very polite, and asked every individual how they would like...

On a bit of a pub crawl by bus with some friends dropped by on a Wednesday evening. Very nice drop of Bathams in fact the best I've tasted in a good while. The landlord was very friendly and the beer very reasonably priced. Excellent stop off on any crawl

Blast from the past ace bathams beer. A treat. Pork scratching ma good and a health dose of Black Country accents. Sat outside overlooking my sisters old school and where my mate used to work. Pondering the changes in Dudley since we grew up there.

My husband and I stayed at the Lamp Tavern, as my brother was having a party in the function room. My adult son stayed too. The accommodation was really comfortable and spacious with great shower. The staff were friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Best hotel breakfast I have had for some time and rates very reasonable....

Always a good atmosphere and a warm welcome in the bar. Great pint of Bathams. Well worth a visit for the real ale drinker. Also a good size function room and massive beer garden for those long summer nights.

Stayed here a few times and there's been some refurbishment of the rooms, especially the bathrooms. For what you pay per person it's functional and meets the needs for a lads drinking weekend..., bed, shower and breakfast. Tom and Co are always friendly and helpful and the quality of the Bathams is superb. No doubt we will return next time...

Have been to this pub ( too many times) but keeping going back for more. A proper pub with the old fashioned bar a back lounge and an enormous function room . Sometimes they have groups but it cannot outdo the quality of the Bathams Bitter. To add extra they have attached a rentable accommodation.

I stayed on the 24th october 2015. After reading reviews I was very disappointed. The staff were not very friendly, the room was dated and there was mold on one wall, beds very uncomfortable. The shower room was nice but other end of corridor. I was very cold in the night. as no heater access and the radiator was cold....

Had a lovely stay at The Lamp. Everyone including locals, staff and manager went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Room was spotless and comfortable and en suite superb. Can thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Dudley and surrounding areas.
