Had a one night's stay in February at the back of the hotel. The room was a good size, very comfortable bed with only a skylight for fresh air. Bathroom was fine, although could have done with a mirror on the wall rather than perched on the window sill. Unfortunately the hotel had experienced a flood in room 1 the...

Crows Hotel is in fact 9 bedrooms above a laundry on a busy main road (the A6) in the centre of the town. There are few of the facilities or surroundings which most people would associate with a hotel. The door to the laundry was open and led directly into the reception area. Our room was at the back, accessed...

Stayed here at the weekend... only room left was a twin.. charged £80 for room only... arrived to a warm welcome, shown to my room which basically meant opening the door and having the bathroom and TV being pointed out... but to be honest, I didn't need much more.. room was warm and tidy... TV had channels missing and any...

We stayed here for one Saturday night to see our daughter (at Uni in Lancaster and involved in a production at Dukes Theatre). Check-in was straight forward and simple enough, although we wanted to book breakfast for the following morning but were told that no staff were available, so no breakfast! The place is so central however that there are...

We were so pleased with the Crows Hotel! Check in was extremely easy and our room was quite big, very clean and had quite a homely feel to it. The only problem we had was with the heating, the room got really hot and the windows don't open which is a shame. But apart from this the hotel was fantastic,...

Stayed at the Crows for a reunion weekend with my old college (S. Martins) mates. Only used it as a place to crash but have to say it was perfect. Really handy location and staff were very friendly and helpful. Have stayed here before and will no doubt do so again.

Stayed for one night. Friendly staff and dog! Was sent a text to tell me how to pick up my keys as the reception shuts at 6pm which was helpful. Room was large, modern and clean. Noise was minimal with the double glazing although some noise is expected as it's on the main road. Strange layout with hotel rooms accessed...

The room was clean and comfortable and the location excellent. However we were not sent information on how to check in which list is stood outside a locked door for 10 minutes trying to get someone on the phone. Facilities listed on trip advisor include bar and restaurant which were there but locked up and not to use.

Easy walk from the station, just a stroll to the city centre, castle and coffee shops. I was visiting my God daughter who is at university in the city. Perfect. I looked the separate entrance to the rooms at the rear, would prefer a heavier duvet, but at the price, this is s small nit.
