Opposite the assembly rooms this pub is cheap and friendly and usually as in our case has Duke box music available for the artist performing opposite very friendly staff can't fault the place. Definitely go before the gig

Rooms were above a busy town pub that closed at 1am(ish). Run by nice people, the rooms however were basic, smokey, and there was a degree of noise from downstairs until about 1am. Breakfast was adequate and we were not rushed out of the room...More
