I have chosen to stay in this hotel for one night, maily because of its location nr Preston train station. After Checing in I've found that it is one of my best stays in the UK, having a very friendly staff, tidy and clean place with flexible check in time and delicious breakfast, plus a great value of money.

Fantastic for the price, room was very clean and had everything we needed. Great location 5 minute walk from the train station and the centre is just a couple of minutes further down. Breakfast was lovely would definitely stay here again!

We booked a twin room with en suite - £62 for the night sat-sun On arrival we were early, we were allowed to check in as our room was ready (room 20). We were given a swipe card for entry to the front door and a one key for the bedroom. Pros: Room was bright and airy with plenty of...

Stayed overnight as our daughter was graduating from Uclan university. Great location if you are arriving by train, just turn left at the end of ramp/road coming out of the station and it's a four minute walk down the road. We were given a warm welcome and shown to our rooms which were both on the ground floor. These were...

Lovely stay at Ashwood. Had Large double room on ground floor. Room and bathroom were clean. Bed comfy with clean bedding and towels. Staff at hotel were friendly. There was some traffic noise from main road which our room overlooked. Maybe would be less loud if had room on higher floor but overall great stay. Would return to this hotel...

We stayed here for one Saturday night and what a pleasant stay. The hotelier was very welcoming as were the other staff including the Australian girl that served us breakfast and was very apologetic when our breakfast took over half an hour from order to be served. There was some muck up in the kitchen but coffee and toast was...

Got 2 rooms for £70 as all the usual hotel chains were all booked up for a Saturday night. Essentially we just needed a place to get our heads down, but could only get 2 twin rooms, but still cheaper than 1 double at Premier! Read the reviews, looked promising. Being mid-Saturday afternoon, not a chance of getting any parking...

We stopped here unexpectedly when our AirBnB cancelled at the last moment. The whole stay was really great- friendly and helpful staff , comfortable room- actually an up grade, and great location for town centre and shops. Breakfast was included and really good- set us up for the day

Stayed here for one night on my own (would of been two or three if business hadn't been cut short). Hotel was a great find. Could not believe the quality of the bedding and the overall finish of the place for the price. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were helpful, friendly and professional. Breakfast was gorgeous and...
