We had a great 2 night stay. Large comfortable room with character furniture - don't come here if you want Holiday Inn style furnishings! The food in the restaurant was great and most importantly for us they welcome dogs - not in the restaurant of course but you can eat in the bar if you wish. (strange comment that another...

Stunning building outside but different story inside. No clear signs which way the restaurant was. Given a set course menu (which does not have any vegetarian options on) staff unsure what is in food.didnt check to see if everything was ok with the meal. Was offered desserts by 3 different staff members after already asking for the bill . Lack...

Came here with Brother in Law and his wife, and my wife, last week. Had been here some 14 years ago to a Wedding, and nothing has changed apart from a large Wedding Reception Hall, and a Chapel ! The exterior looks extremely impressive, but the Interior not so. I see that a previous Reviewer describes it as 'Quality' +...

Decided to break our drive to Glasgow and were recommended by friends to try this hotel which is about halfway from Bristol. It turned out to be a good choice just a few miles off the motorway in a nice rural setting with a large car park and nice grounds. Our room was a reasonable size and furnished in a...

We are frequent visitors to Ferraris Country House Hotel and Restaurant so perhaps slightly biased in its favour. We went to a dinner dance and stayed the night. The location is very good with ample car parking. The old manor house has been greatly extended and the function rooms are nicely set out. The food is good without being Haute...

What a gem. Great location, hotel and staff. It's a family run hotel and nothing too much trouble. Gorgeous room and furnishings and the whole place is spotless . The food is second to none. Hats of to the chef. The food is so good that we ate here all weekend. Michelin standard for me.Didn't need to look any further....

Stayed overnight whilst visiting surrounding countryside. Arrived about 7:30pm as a large party was coming in. Waited around at 'reception desk' for a long time as no one was there. Members of staff just walking past. Would of been nice to be asked if we needed help. Managed to get the attention of someone and finally checked in. Interior of...

This was booked for my Birthday and we got a fantastic deal on Late Rooms, a superior room with beautiful antique furniture and a huge en-suite. The hotel was beautiful and the gardens were fantastic, still very colourful. We ate in the restaurant and had a very reasonable 3 course meal for £15. Would love to go back
