Very basic and a bit grubby, but adequate for one night. Breakfast staff seemed a bit under-trained. We asked for a pot of tea three times and gave up in the end. Very nice location in Solihull though.

Our housekeeping department do take great pride in the cleanliness of the hotel which is reflected in many of the reviews we receive, you comments have been noted and any possible improvements will be made. Whilst we constantly monitor and improve where possible this will be reiterated to our breakfast staff to ensure immediate improvement. Kind Regards

The Ramada hotel is a regular for us as it is located in Solihull town centre, just a couple of minutes walk from the shops. We live in Manchester and it is a good base from which to visit our relatives who live in South Birmingham. The rooms are cheap and cheerful at around £60 per night. We are not...

Thank you for taking the time to review us on trip advisor, we do have discounted rooms during the quieter periods and these do fill up very quickly. We do apologise for the mix up with the room allocation on arrival, and will do our very best to ensure this does not happen again. Mattresses can be a very personal...

I stay here on a regular basis (booked through work) and it's in a good central location with plenty of parking. Have eaten in curry restaurant which was good. My only gripe would be they don't serve breakfast until 7 which is not really convenient for people like me who have to get on the road for work!

Our regular guests are very important to us and we thank you for your kind comments. Whilst our cooked buffet style breakfast does not start until 7am, all guests have the choice to request a continental style breakfast which can be served as early as you like, just put a time on the menu and leave on your door for...

Lovely afternoon tea and brilliant service from Andrew,he was really hard working and made sure we had everything we needed and more , the selection of "desserts" was fantastic and not the usual "cake and tarts" definitely recommend!

Just ended a three night return stay at the hotel. Yes the hotel is somewhat dated but you cannot beat this place in terms of location in Solihull. Check in was pain-free as always. People have moaned on Trip Advisor about the breakfast, but to be fair you have plenty of other choices within a short walking distance if you...

Overall, a half decent hotel with free car parking. I stayed in one of their 'town house' rooms which was slightly quirky as it was on two floors with a lounge and bathroom on one floor and the bedroom upstairs (spiral stairs). Breakfast was your standard buffet style. It was very busy in the morning but that was due to...

Came to Solihull for a conference and stayed at The George Ramada Hotel. Check in was easy, but found our room was a fair walk along many corridors. On entry the room was a very good surprise, better than the average for this type of hotel the newly refurbished room had all the modern facilities and costs had not been...
