The hotel is very conference centre looking, but as it is you'd expect no less. It was slightly dated in the rooms- using a key to enter and locking the doors behind you, no automatic lights, but the bathroom was very modern! Amazing shower!!! Overall it was very clean, staff were friendly and everything we asked for we got. The... More

My work often put me in this place and it's horrible. Feels more budget than a Travelodge. There was a bug going round while I was here so food had to be kept separate and needed to sanitise!! So disgusting. The beds are small and old and horrible uncomfortable. Only good thing is the staff are all friendly

This is a great venue for training as all the facilities are under one roof, that or enclosed walkway connecting the buildings. The rooms were clean and adequate for a couple of nights. My only gripe is WiFi, there was patchy mobile phone coverage and no WiFi in the rooms, ironic really given its history.

Rooms are clean and tidy comfy beds food is ok nothing special but plenty of selection. More of a business stopover than a holiday. Bar on site plenty of places to relax after a long day. Nothing nearby so a car is recommended.

A well appointed hotel with pleasant staff and in pleasant surroundings. Rooms were fine, great masterstroke provision of washing and drying facilities. Restaurant was a little strange in that you had to buy your drink upstairs in the bar and then go collect your meal (canteen stylee) and they put the price up for the weekend so you had to... More

Situated out of town, there's not much (if anything) nearby. Parking is easy and check in was smooth. The rooms have had a makeover and are better than previously but still very small & pokey. The wifi simply didn't reach my room and i gave up trying to get any work done after 30 mins of virtually non existent signal... More

Went here for a weekend conference. The room I had was well appointed, including a TV and an en suite. The restaurant has very limited opening hours, but the food on offer was very good. The lounge is a decent place to relax in the evening, with a large screen TV for watching sports and a decent bar.

I stayed this month on a training course for 2 nights, the rooms are a nice size and the beds are comfortable. I did not make use of the gym/ sauna but some of the other people I was with did and said it good. The food is good with plenty of choice for both vegetarians and meat eaters as... More
