Stayed two nights. Hotel appeared nice and clean. Staff not very friendly. Used restaurant the first night. We were the only people in there, yet still had to wait an hour for our food and then when it did arrive, the idiot waiter had got our order wrong!!!! Fish instead of chicken!!!! Not impressed. Did they seem bothered????? .......NO!!!! Didn't...

Myself and a friend enjoyed a relaxing afternoon yesterday. We finally managed to book in some relaxing time in between work and looking after little ones. Our afternoon started with a head massage followed by some nail work before enjoying time in the pool and Jacuzzi. We then moved to the bar to enjoy some yummy sandwiches and cakes. Definitely...

Attended a birthday of a close family friend and our first time to visit the place. Searching hotels near the venue and managed to looked up this hotel and what you see is what you get. Great staff and very helpful. Clean and covenient hotel to stay in. Everything you need is all in place. Never disappointed. 👍🏻

Overnight stay while visiting friends. Room OK though basic. Bed clean but rest of the room needed attention. Breakfast pretty dire. Buffet very messy and staff unprofessional - making lots of noise in the restaurant at breakfast. Would only ever stay there as a last resort.

The room was extremely hot. TV was very small. We booked a spa break here for my fiancés birthday - was just a very average stay. Nothing to write home about. Breakfast was also very average and staff not attentive at all. Fire alarm went off- no apology about this when we checked out the room. Cleaner tried coming in...

My partner offered me a voucher to go indoor sky diving in Basingstoke therefore we decided to find a hotel close-by to enjoy a romantic weekend in a Hotel and Spa. We mainly chose it for the location and the Spa, as the price of the room was expensive but we thought we would give it a go as we...

Handy location and nice place to stay for a night, rooms are descent with comfy beds, but the TV is too small for the room, bathroom needs brought out of the 80's and modernised as that shower was in my granny's old house. Breakfast was a big let down, poor selection of yoghurt and fruit, waited an age for brown...

Had a meal in the brasserie restaurant tonight. Had the soup of day to start. The good came and was gone within minutes! Not enough!!! I'm not greedy but there was literally 13-14 spoon fills in that tiny bowl. The main I had was the curry, jalfrezi. Like a previous review the naan bread was disgusting and again, not enough....

I'd rate this hotel above branded hotels in Basingstoke (which I visited at the same time) because it has a pool, Jacuzzi, steam and sauna open from earlyish to latish and plenty of free parking. I'd say the Apollo is better value. Nice slick check-in and into my quiet bedroom with very comfy bed, iron, hairdryer and tea making facilities....
