How's that for a twist on your average B&B? Almost as a throwaway, after we were shown to our room, we were given this vital piece of information. The Brewhouse is very much a pub and it seems that it isn't staffed till 12 o'clock so they have this 'unusual' arrangement. Inside the wardrobe was a fridge with all the... More

What a transformation from when the three of us visited about a year ago. This time, three traditional meals, perfectly prepared, accompanied by a couple of glasses of wine and a refreshing beer for me. Warm welcome, good price, can't wait to return.

Decided to go for an impromptu meal with an old friend on a warm Monday evening. Was very quiet when we arrived with around 8 or 9 people there. I ordered the 1/2 chicken and chips and my friend ordered the Cheese and Onion Pie with chips. Both the meals were lovely and so much that we could not eat... More

I live local to this establishment, but have never popped in. However, whilst on a walk last week, I decided to try out their beverages & food. The quality of both was appreciated; especially when indulging in banter with a few of the local clientelle. One called Matt explained to myself that he was a roofer & proceeded to sing... More

This was our first visit and was truly delighted, the service was great didn't have to love from the table the barman looked after us brilliantly. The food was fantastic, cooked to perfection with a great choice of sides (choice of 3) included in the price, all in all we all had a great lunch, would definitely recommend
