A convenient Gatwick hotel which has recently undergone a £9 million refurbishment and extension project transforming nearly all areas of the hotel, including the reception, restaurant and event suites. The extension has also seen an increase of 40 new bedrooms, most of which are family rooms of 5, making this hotel one of the few in the area to offer this. Holiday Inn London Gatwick Worth is located in Crawley, perfect for the business and leisure traveller and has onsite car parking. Located 10 minutes from Gatwick Airport (LGW), our Park, Stay & Go packages lets you leave your car at the hotel and arrive at the airport feeling refreshed. Trains at nearby Three Bridges station reach London Victoria in 40 minutes. Brighton is only 35 minutes away by car, and the local shops in Crawley are within a short drive. Other local attractions include Wakehurst Place and Tulley's Farm for a fun family day out. We are now cashless.

The Holiday Inn London Gatwick - Worth is frequently celebrated for its spacious and spotless rooms, although a few guests have mentioned that the decor could use a refresh and that there have been some issues with heating. The welcoming atmosphere and well-kept facilities make it feel like a home away from home, according to reviewers.
While the staff's friendliness and attentiveness are often highlighted, some guests have experienced occasional lapses in service. The amenities generally meet travelers' needs, though opinions on the dining options and value for money are mixed, with some pointing out high costs for drinks, services, and parking.

Our stay was for one night in the family room. Upon arrival the check in staff were extremely helpful, they recommended somewhere to go for evening entertainment locally. The room was very spacious, very comfortable 2 x kingsize beds, ample sockets for charging devices and cleaned to high standard. This is our 2nd visit to Holiday Inn Gatwick Worth, previously pre covid and has since had a refurbishment which now looks very stylish. The bar area is great, warm and welcoming and prices reasonable. We didn't eat at the venue as we had airport lounge booked the next morning we left, however the menu looked varied and good value for money.
We would highly recommend staying here, the venue is just 15-20 mins away from Gatwick airport, you can leave your car whilst you are away.
Great accommodation and has great hosting space for weddings and events with some great value wedding packages available.

We booked this hotel as we had an early flight from Gatwick on the Monday morning and did not want the stress of the M25! The hotel is about 10 minutes from the airport and is very comfortable. Our room was huge. The beds were very comfortable and the linen/ towels new and spotless. My only complaint was that the room was very cold on arrival with no means for adjustment in the room. However on calling reception I was told the heating could be controlled from there. After a drink in the bar, on our return to the room, it had warmed up nicely. I thought the drinks in the bar were a bit pricey but I suppose that is what happens when you have a captive audience!

Have stayed here on many occasions. Good value for money. Park on site always found a space to park near reception. Video cameras on the entrance to record condition of the vehicle on arrival. Reception staff very attentive and efficient. Rooms modern and clean ideal to rest before flying the next day. Reception booked a cab that took us to the airport which cost £17:50 which included the Gatwick Airport drop off fee. The restaurant offers guests a 10% discount on food if you pre book a table.

With an airport nearby usually standards drop and prices increase but here although it’s an old style hotel with only two floors they have managed to keep it in good condition and high standards
Big free car park was certainly a benefit
Check in was really busy at 2100 but staff apologetic for the delay and were quick to process
No upgrade as a diamond member but the standard 2 king room was really big and the beds gave excellent comfort
Only had breakfast but it was a great selection including a separate vegan / gluten area if that’s your thing
Easy access to airport and three bridges station in a few mins
I’d recommend

The hotel has a plush feel to it. It is obviously not run on a shoestring: in the lobby and restaurant an army of receptionists and other attendants are there to welcome and serve you. Our room was ample, clean and comfortable. One telling detail: a sign on the bed said that if we found neither of two pillows (per person) to our liking, squishier options were available from reception. The shower was excellent. On the restaurant: while hardly Michelin material, it provides decent food in a nice atmosphere – and at reasonable prices. Our only quibble was the corridor noise. I'm not sure whether patrons are encouraged to keep their voices down - but neighbouring guests certainly didn't. I was glad I'd brought ear plugs. A second door between the entrance/bathroom and the bedroom (as some Premier Inns have) would obviate the problem.

One of the best Premier Inn we stayed in near the airport. Beds very comfy, lots of choices of pillows to choose from, clean bathroom along with Dove shower gels. We booked through Holiday Extras which includes parking at the hotel. The only downside is you had to take a taxi to the airport which cost around £18 each way. Takes around 15 mins. No shuttle bus.

Booked one night prior to travelling out of Gatwick North. Booked and Paid through Holiday Extras, £136 for one night stay (no breakfast) plus eight days meet and greet parking. The hotel cost was £57 extra over the parking only quote of £79. We were told the hotel had recently had a £9m refit and whilst that sounds a bit steep all the areas were really new looking and clean. The bedroom was a good size and well presented, comfortable beds, big TV, good shower and 3/4 size bath. Tea & coffee facilities so everything we needed for one night. We had a room looking into the quadrant in the centre of the hotel and my only criticism would be the noise from the very loud extractors/air conditioners on the first floor roof just outside. It meant the windows could not be left open and even then they were noisy. Booking through Holiday extras also gave us free over night parking which I believe sometimes has a charge. Chose not to eat in the hotel and got a great recommendation for food at a local pub near Copthorne called the Cherry tree. See seperate review. Would use this hotel again no problem. The 6.5 mile drive from the hotel to Gatwick North during rush hour the next morning was 30 minutes.

Thank you for your review. We are so pleased that yo were impressed with our recent £9 million refurbishment. It updated not only reception and our restaurant area but also built 40 new bedrooms and transformed our 5 event suites. Apologies that there was a noise coming from outside your bedroom, this will be looked into. We hope to welcome you back soon!

Social reasons found me and my wife staying at Holiday Inn London Gatwick Worth last weekend and what a treat that turned out to be. Recently refurbished throughout and with the fantastic Meadow brassiere this is one of the best Holiday Inns I have stayed at.
The accommodation is excellent with spacious rooms and smart modern bathrooms matching perfectly the open plan lobby area.
Lunch in the Meadow brasserie was first class, can recommend the chicken burger and Caesar salad, staff attentive and well trained, very difficult to fault.
Efficient and friendly check in and out.
Congrats to the whole team, text book example of what a hotel should deliver on a weekend away.

Arrived to find a good choice of car parking spaces with good space in between cars, very warm and friendly welcome, laughter and lots of smiles.
Gorgeous spacious room with king size bed and amazing pillows that are soft one side and firm the other, so you have a choice. Clean rooms, huge tv, small arrangement of toiletries. Fluffy bathrobes and slippers and the tea making area had Earl Grey tea, fantastic!
We ate at the Meadows restaurant, again greeted by several friendly wait staff who were chatty and made us feel welcome. Food served was hot, very tasty and good value.
There is no doubt in my mind, that all my future park, stay and fly holidays from Gatwick will be with this hotel.
Thank you for making the start of our holiday relaxing!

I stayed at this hotel with my Wife on 29th December prior to an early flight out from Gatwick. The day was very cold and foggy and we were glad to get to the hotel. I used to stay at the hotel a lot a number of years ago for business so I was pretty sure it would be ok. However, the room was so cold when we arrived. I tried to get the heating working but it was just more cold air. I went down to reception after about an hour of trying and was told the “System” might need re-setting? If that doesn’t work we could get a standalone heater. The reset did not work, however, after a while we got a heater, which had seen better days and had one leg! Anyway it warmed the room up to a degree, however, the bathroom remained very cold. When we checked out I mentioned it again to reception that it was not satisfactory for a Holiday Inn during the Winter to be offering rooms that had no heating. The response was that they had made a note of it; no apology. The staff did not seem particularly bothered or concerned and for that reason I would not stop there again or recommend it to anyone else.

The hotel is isolated, but has a restaurant serving a variety of meals.
There is a regular hotel shuttle back to the airport, where there are more options for eating, but there is a charge for the shuttle - either £3 or £4 each way per adult.
