We stayed here prior to our flight at Gatwick the night before we were due to fly. Turn off to the hotel could easily be missed so watch out as the turning is straight after you turn left. The hotel from the outside doesn’t look much, However, when you walk in, there is a different vibe! It is clean modern and vibrant. You can park on site overnight this is at a charge of £10. If you are wanting breakfast within your stay, I would recommend booking this before as it is a little bit cheaper than if you were to buy it on the day you wanted it.
We were given the choice of which floor we might want to be on, We didn’t have a preference, but we were put on level five. When we got into the room, it was lovely, There was a bed sofa area TV and a desk. The bathroom consisted of a shower toilet and sink area. The shower was amazing, Powerful and hot! We did find the room quite dusty, Especially around the photo frames and TV. This did cause myself to be sneezing quite a lot. The bed was comfortable, however, no spare pillows were available in the room.
We went down for breakfast the following morning and this consisted of a hot and Continental breakfast. A coffee machine was available along with juices and water. The food was nice.
My husband did use the gym, There was nothing that stood out to be amazing about it however there were the general weights, Cardio machines, etc. There was a pool area which we didn’t use, but we did pop our head round to have a little look, This was quite busy and looked like a nice area if you wanted to have a swim.
We would stay here again, The location is great Airport parking and even if you wanted to venture out for something to eat at a restaurant, there is a leisure park nearby.

The rooms are tired and need refurbishment! Beds are comfortable, housekeeping need to be shown how to clean a room properly, we didn't use the restaurant on site or the bar. Also note they charge you car parking on top of your room charge its not included.

The room was big and comfy. But the rooms are not cleaned or serviced if you are staying beyond one day - you have to request fresh towels, toilet paper, coffee sachets etc each day if you want them. All felt a bit low budget service.
The food is very good and the menu doesn’t disappoint at all - the best element of the stay.
The worst element though is the gym which was awful. Too small for the usage with half of the equipment broken and outdated. The website makes it look a lot better than it is.

Used this as a stop-over after flying back from Portugal, it was excellent . The front desk was really helpful despite the very late hour , room great, included a noisy fridge ( turned it off ) and microwave , lovely bed and spacious. Far enough away from the noise of the airport but only 10 minutes drive. Great breakfast , very good value.

This stay surpassed my expectations: we booked this as a budget room before flying from Gatwick airport, and it was fab!
The building itself is beautifully designed and grand in appearance: the rooms are cosy but stylish with modern touches throughout. Everything feels new, clean and well put together: from the granite bathrooms to the usb sockets in the dimmable bulb lamps. Beds are very comfy, room was very quiet and warm: we slept great.
The food was a pleasant surprise. I usually expect airport room service to be extortionate but I thought it was actually reasonably & fairly priced for the quality. I had the open steak sandwich which was lovely: excellent meat, cooked perfectly to request. I also got a side of Caesar salad which was probably the nicest one I’ve ever had. Gorgeous tangy dressing which I wouldn’t stop raving about. The chocolate fondant desert was also to die for and very much worth an order.
The staff were all lovely, polite and friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful.
For around the same price as a travel lodge, this place far exceeds in setting and service, and we would happily stay again! If you want a quiet, quality stay near Gatwick airport, this one’s for you.

We chose the Sandman as it was dog friendly. This is the second time we’ve stayed here, it’s ideally situated for the town centre and Gatwick airport. We arrived on this occasion from a night flight and as our room wasn’t ready, we were allowed to use the leisure facilities to freshen up. A quick dip in the pool and a long shower worked wonders. After collecting our dog from our sitter we checked in. On both occasions Daisy has had a bed treats poo bags and a bowl in the room. Both times we have used the bar area water was provided for Daisy. Georgina( who was incredibly helpful re the dog), advised us that for breakfast they would open the bar area for us so we could take Daisy down to breakfast with us. The rooms are clean, fairly large, with facilities to make a hot drink and with a microwave.

We stayed here overnight on 01 March as a stop off before an early morning flight from Gatwick. The hotel is situated just off of a very busy dual carriageway but is easy to find and has plenty of parking. Check in at reception was easy and the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed for a one night stop over. The view out the window was of the car park and road in the background but it wasn't an issue. The room is well sound proffed so we didn't notice the road at all. The hotel has a bar and a restaurant which are separate. Both are comfortable and both serve good food and beers at a reasonable price. I enjoyed the meal and the staff were once again very friendly. My only criticism of the hotel would be the charge of £10 they make for the use of their car park. I am a paying guest and as such should not really have go pay an additional overnight parking fee. Other than that I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a short stop especially those flying out from nearby Gatwick in the early morning.

Arrived at the hotel in the evening, and was greeted by Esther at the desk who was very friendly, and helped me with a quick and easy check in. Georgina was also very kind in showing me to my room, and helpful with booking me a taxi for the airport. The room was very clean and spacious upon entering. It included a kettle, microwave and a mini-fridge which is great for storing my midnight snacks! The sliding closet is also very spacious and has a large mirror good for taking outfit pics. Inside the closet there is an ironing board, iron, and safe. The bathroom was very clean with lots of towels, extra toilet paper and the shower has very good water pressure! Room also includes a large desk with lots of drawers, hairdryer, TV, sofa and large windows with a lovely view. Most importantly, the bed is also very comfy and I had a great sleep :) Overall, I highly recommend this hotel with lovely staff and great rooms worth the price! I will definitely be coming back here whenever I need a hotel for my flights at Gatwick Airport.

Do not go to this hotel if you want to be sure you can get a drink at the bar or if you want to eat a decent breakfast. We arrived 22/12 for 3 nights while visiting family for Christmas. On arrival very friendly reception staff,we saw the notice stating the hours for the bar,till 11pm on 22nd and 23rd ,9 pm on Christmas eve. However we came back on 23rd at 10pm but were refused a drink as they had shut because they were quiet. Questioned this at reception and was told they had no control over it as the bar and food was run as a 3rd party..really?? Went to breakfast next day,reception had not told them we had paid so had to wait for that to be verified,I then went to get juice and cereal ,put them on the table and when I came back the lady had cleared it,unbelievable especially when considering the state of the empty tables around. The quality of food was rubbish and definitely not worth £14. Also the person running the bar has considerable attitude and really should not be in customer service. The room was a decent size but very tired so much so one night we were laying in bed and the downlight fell out!! One thing that is very good is the power of the shower,it was second to none. We stay a lot in Crawley but we definitely will not bother staying here again but I don't think the hotel is bothered about repeat business just want you in and out one nighters. This is proven in the fact that they don't service your rooms if you stay for more than one night unless you put in a pre 10am request.. NEVER AGAIN..

We booked hotel as it was near to the function meeting the next day and looked fine from the pictures. Now forgive my ignorance but I thought the hotel bar would be open at 14:00, but no opens at 16:00, shuts at 10:30, although drinks were reasonably priced, London prices £6.50 a pint. The plus side theres a outside area with tables and chairs. If you want crisps you had to ask at reception, if you wanted your room made you had to ask reception. Tea/Coffee machine in the foyer which is free Every time we left the room we kept getting locked out the room so needed to keep having the reception to re-activate the card. The room was spacious and great view from the 6th floor and clean and usual Tea/coffee, ironing board and iron, kettle, TV. Bathroom again clean no issues what so ever, plenty of towels, and good size shower. Breakfast was good value think it was £16 per person per day, and buffet style serve yourself, although the last day said our request for poached eggs they said 30min wait, i suggested the chef gets he's finger out, it wasn't even busy. What would have been annoying if I came back from holiday and wanted a drink or food forget it the bar opens at 16:00, or just landed get in the hotel bar after 10:30 you cant get a drink. There's better hotels in the gatwick area but this just is as good as Premier Inn's. Good size car park £10 per day, and think you can leave your car there whilst your aways on holiday

Hi, Sorry but unable to answer your question but I would suggest a phone call to the hotel to confirm their policy. All of the staff here are friendly and I am sure will give you the answers very quickly.
Taxi cost varies from £11 to £17 depending on what taxi company you use. Then I would get a taxi for dinner to town Crawley its only £6 and your choice is a lote more for cuisines and places .
We have stayed at Sandman Signature Gatwick for well over 12 years and I wouldn't stay anywhere else because of reception staff and swimming pool plus room sizes plus its quiet.
There are more places to choose from in the Crawley area.
