Visiting Telford on business decided to give the usual Hotels a miss and opted for a night at the Shakespeare Inn. Great location, circa 6 miles from Telford Centre, in a nice quiet area. Good choice of evening meals with a hearty portion of food and equally great full english for breakfast to start the day. Room was plenty big...

After completing our walk we popped in here for lunch. The meals are huge so suggest you ask for a smaller portion or light bite if you don't have a big appetite. The light bite prices are very reasonable. We went for the main menu as we didn't know the portion size so we unfortunately had to waste some of...

Really enjoyable meal had by my family. Lovely welcoming atmosphere and a great selection of food on offer. Parking wasn't great however the meal and company out weighed this issue. Highly recommended

A lovely quaint rural Inn in a lovely setting. The food is excellent witIh a menu that reflects a wide choice of tasty pub food and spicy sizzlers cooked to perfection and piping hot. And whilst wholesome pub food in nature on a par with many expensive bistro's both Glyn and myself have eaten at with a realistic price tag....

Came across this pub whilst staying locally. What a great menu for Mexican food👍🏻(it also has lots of other non-Mexican choices) I had the enchiladas and hubby had chicken in mushroom and bacon sauce. Generous portions and very very tasty. Friendly staff, would definitely revisit when back in this part of the country and would look to staying in the...

We were made to feel very welcome when we popped in Saturday evening. We hadn't booked a table but every effort was made to seat us. The food was very good value and huge portions. We have big appetites yet returned food as we were so full. Dishes enjoyed were calamari and jalapeño peppers from starters, steak & ale pie,...

Stayed here with my partner for one night - was going to rate this one star for the stay but the food was good, particularly the chorizo topped rosti. Everything else about our stay was dire. In particular: - heating seemed to be on a timer so room was freezing cold and radiators were stone cold when waking. They had...
